Something significant changed in the 14.x series because I never recall such crashing under 13 / 12.
What more can I do to help, if I enable debugging it puts all that text all over the screen? I'm happy to turn it on, albeit, gonna be a LARGE log file, since my crashes are sporadic.

Kodi stopped working last night as I was streaming to a upnp client. Debug logging was off sorry - last line of ordinary log was:
04:40:20 T:12360 ERROR: Unhandled exception in Process : Access violation at 0x77e7e41b: Writing location 0x7f7f7e7d
I've now set log level to 1 in advanced settings (thanks kiggerbare), so will try to recreate.

Has anyone noticed that in some cases the default soundtrack is Dolby Digital and not True HD? I'm sure this wasn't happening in 14.1 version.

I seem to be having problems with kodi displaying the right subtitle style (.ass files) since updating from 14.0.
sometimes it does it sometimes it won't.
Edit:
Did a bit more testing... possibly has something to do with internal attachments? I have the font i want to use installed on windows but only when i play a file with the font muxed into it does it work.
and it seems i only have to play it one time, after that the font works with other mkv files regardless if they have it in the container or not.
Its odd, i've never had this problem before.. i'd revert 14.0 but the crashes were even more annoying.
Also (not limited to this version) subtitles seem to just stop displaying sometimes. Turning them off and off doesn't make them show even though kodi says its currently displaying them.
Restarting kodi fixes it.

try the nightly build for 15 to see if it is solved. If not solved, let them fix it there. I sounds like after 14.2 final there will not be anything else until 15.
