Not related at all. Also not a kodi issue at all: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88012

Just wanted to chime in here and say I downloaded and installed the 14.2 beta yesterday, turned webserver back on, and have had no problems existing the program again. Thank you for the fix. Can now use my tablet and iphone for control again.

Just curious -- is the 14.2b1 Linux build available via the unstable or nightly ppa?

Sorry, I forgot to update about this. Yes, 14.2 beta is available on the unstable PPA.

Hi... I just posted this on the Kodi announcement / main page:

----------------------------------

DB question:

I checked the wiki: http://kodi.wiki/view/Databases/Versions

Is 14.2 beta 1 still 90 / 48 ?

MySQL freaks always want to know.

----------------------------------

Thanks.

We never change mysql version during a stable release. v14 will have the same version always.

I think you mean that the database versions remain the same (90/48)

ok, thanks!

That's good to know. As a mysql user, I am also always concerned about this. So, there can always be upgrades during "nightly", "alpha" and "beta" times, but once the final release of a version is out, all .x upgrades keep video and music database version unchanged?

Just installed.

I would like to confirm a bug fix and say thank you for resolving the Multi Source scanning bug.

I had found a work-around (update library), but updating only one source is better.

Now... If you can resolve the mysterious "Cleaning" and "Export Library" disappearing GUI window... that would be great.

Too mysterious to reproduce and resolve.. Wink

I seem to have a problem with this version, well since I updated anyway. A couple of my streaming video add-ons (BBC Iplayer and HD Streaming sports) will not load any stream at all. Sometimes just nothing happens when I select a program/stream, sometimes it comes up with an error message saying stream would not load

http://goo.gl/XNL5mk

I am using release kodi14.2-beta1.

The steps are:

Open Iplayer or hd streaming direct from front menu bar
select stream i want to watch
normally it opens and I watch it
furiously hit enter a million times when it doesn't work.

Can anyone help, or guide how I can go back to the previous release?

I would like to report a problem with extremely high latency. High latency leads to crackling sound and possibly choppy video. I have traced this problem to the UPnP function under SERVICES-UPNP. If anything under there is checked, latency shoots through the roof.

My system:
Windows 7 x64, 8GB RAM, all drivers updated to latest version

Steps to replicate the problem:
*Download and install LatencyMon from http://www.resplendence.com/downloads
*Start the program, start the monitor
Latency should be under 250 us on a correctly configured system with good drivers.
*Start KODI
*Check anything under SERVICES-UPNP
Watch Latency rocket
