Dear zag,
I was testing your api and I noticed that using 'eventslast' method for Portuguese teams it is not possible to get the score, i mean, it is always set to null.
Is it a bug or is it normal?

The scores do not update until I add any new promoted teams. I've added 'Tondela' and 'Uniao da Madeira' to the league, so it should start updating soon.

Let me know if you find any other soccer leagues not updating. I expect there to be a few more.

@zag, can you make a summary of the Football Leagues that have automatically processed league tables? All of them?
Edit: nevermind, just checked the ones that have past results.

I managed to sign up to one of the $1,000 a month sports API's and get a free trial, promptly downloaded all their archive results in XML format and imported

- NBA historic results added from 2008 onwards (5,000+ events)
- NFL historic results added from 2000 onwards (2,000+ events)

Myself and others have worked a bit on the data over the summer with some great progress

- Most English Premiership teams should have player details filled in with artwork!!
- UFC fights have been completed with posters and results
- All Nascar events back to 2010 added with artwork
- Some new international soccer teams
- 2016 summer soccer player transfers in progress being updated

@zag is it possible to restart the league tables for the 2016/2017 season? Also there are some missing teams for this season. In the Portuguese League Chaves and Feirense need to be added. Not sure about other leagues.

Will check the league standings, I think there is a small error somewhere. Are you talking about the site or the API?

In the API if you call the endpoint without specifying the season id it still points to the 1516 season. You can check it using the matchcenter addon

Thanks, I've made the default 1617 season now.

For future info you can supply s=1617 to force it, or look up historical tables

NOTE: Leagues may be a little off due to the missing teams from earlier, should sort itself out in a day or so.

Right new site design is in development, get your feature requests in now.

Its only the front end getting a redesign and new features. The backend API should stay the same, maybe with a few new features but no breakage

A couple of features I'm thinking about...

- Season posters
- List of players previous clubs
- Hall of fame for the players with most awards and honours
- New sports?
- Full automated results for Soccer, NHL, NFL and Basketball.
