PHP Code:
DEBUGCRemoteControl::Connect connecting to: ::1:24000 ...
11:00:13 T:3400 M:1195327488   DEBUGCRemoteControl::Connect connecting to127.0.0.1:24000 ...

What IP address do you see in XBMC? In either way, port seams to be default 8080 judging from your screenshots, so use 127.0.0.1:8080 when testing from the same PC your running XBMC on.

It seams you managed to get your settings in order. All should work fine now. I would test on the same pc you are running xbmc on. If it does not work, try changing port from 8080 to say 9099 and send debugg log again. I just tried it myself and web server in rc1 works fine on windows 7, at least on my pc.

Finally got it working. There is no Web server option in this edition. Just do "Select/Enable" Allow Control of XBMC via HTTP . Thats it.

127.0.0.1/8 is a local loopback address and is not usable on anything other than that pc. Leave it as 192.168.1.4 and use that on the iphone.

You should try conntacting App developer, as all seams to be fine from XBMC's part.

BTW, why did you change suggested IP from 127.0.0.1 to 127.0.0.4? Your debug log shows some more IP experiments from your side. You are wasting everybody's time that way.
