I was having problems with HLS on the Rpi until i clicked "lock bitrate". Now working great. Thinking about changing my windows xbmc to xbmcUbuntu just for this. Thanks!

Edit: Solution was to install simplejson plugin - http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/eden/scri...2.0.10.zip
Now it's working.
