Release Aeon Nox: SiLVO
I think I have done my due diligence(lots of googling and searching these forums) before bringing my issue here and I am guessing that I am either missing something or it can not be done.

I am fairly new to Kodi, using a Shield and just switched to Aeon Nox Silvo.
What I want is, I think you are all calling them Media Flags?? When I press pause or get the play/control buttons to show up in the frame, during video playback, I would like to be able to see video file type and resolution, audio type.....and such. I see it in some of the screen shots in this thread, but I can't get them to appear on my screen.... Something like the file info that shows up in the OSD in the Confluence skin.

I am thinking that maybe this info appears if you press the "i"(info button). Is that correct?? If so, what would I do if I am using a Shield TV remote, with ZERO extra buttons? Is there maybe an "Info Button" in the skin, that I just haven't found?

Sorry if this is all ridiculous. And I appreciate any support.

How about using the official Kodi remote: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=221703

Go to your addon folder > skin.aeon.nox.silvo > extras and replace the Intro.mp4 file.

Hi Mike.

Skinsettings.xml contains a bug in line 442 which stops you being able to set the default_bg.jpg as the default background

<onclick>Skin.SetImage(CustomDefaultBackground,,special://skin/backgrounds)</onclick>

Should be

<onclick>Skin.SetImage(CustomDefaultBackground,special://skin/backgrounds)</onclick>

It has one , to many which stops the setting from being set.

This has been doing my head in for ages and I have tried everything to sort it but I think that is it now.

Cheers keep up the good work.

The same problem. Please advice.

One easy way is creating a smart playlist, order it by dateadded, and, if you wish, limit it to a certain number of items, like 25. Use that playlist as the widget for your movies menu item. I use playlists like that as widgets for my Oscars menu item and Top 250 menu item.

Thanks for advide.
How you doing Oscars menu? I can't see Oscars to choose...

thanks, playlist into widget is working now Blush
but there's still a problem.. if i go directly into the playlist the order is fine (sort after date added, limit 25, etc...)
but in the widget they are sorted in alphabetical order, any idea?

That is one for Mike S and Mr. V. I can tell you, though, that in the jarvis-widget-dev branch of the skin in GitHub this is working properly, but I know that is still a work in progress and not yet released.

If you can't find the strings in the strings.po file this means that they either come from Kodi itself, or from an add-on.
