Will do. I just left the house with xbmc running and music paused. I just came back and it crashed while I was away. I turned on spectrum viz like I said.

Updated to Git 20111123-e86e4f4 No crashes since then when using waveform.

Thanks a lot for apparently fixing it Smile

I gotta wonder (again) though, am I the only user using xbmc for music?

Reading this post, it seems that visualisations are too memory hungry for ATV2? Is the screen saving kicking able to crash it too?

Mine is still crashing regularly, so I'm going to turn all visualisations off from now on.
I'll post a new thread if mine crashes again. I'm using the most recent nightly from last night.

there was a mem leak in code used by the viz ... they are not hungry per default...
