Kodi hangs for me with latest nightly build when trying to play a song.

I needed to do a restart of Kodi after the last update before it worked again (i'm lazy, my system is always on).
Those random stops were very annoying, but thank you for the quick solution!!!

Just an additional question, is it possible to have some kind of special command for the addon to auto start a playlist?

for example, i can remotely send a command to the radio plugin from KODI to start a specific station.
"plugin://plugin.audio.radio_de/station/[stationID]/"

same way i can automatically select a specific path inside the addon i want a shortcut to go to.

This would be great in this addon as well! then people can create a shortcut directly to their own playlists.

or my goal: to have my home automation system start a specific playlist for example when i wake up.

same issue here on a windows machine... first couple of seconds playing music, than silence. Restarting the track and it plays fine, but couple of tracks later same problem... silence.

I've just uploaded version 1.0.21 to the repo which will fix the playback issue. Please test.

Note that the playback issue on Kodi Krypton is still being worked on, that will be fixed in Kodi's code.

Not playing, nothing happens. I have installed the nightly from 7th sept. My platform is windows 10 64-bit.

Updated to latest nightly just now on ubuntu 15.10 (i.e Krypton), and i get "cant find a next item to play" which i guess is better then a 1 minute hang like before the update!

Shame you retired spotimc, i loved that plugin!

If you need any specific logs, i will be happy to help if needed.

There is a Spotify connect addon for LibreElec here: https://forum.libreelec.tv/thread-1206.html but from what I read it is only working on Rpi devices.

Anyone knows whether this addon works only with Spotify premium or also a standard spotify account?

I think you need a premium account to register for a developer key to type into settings in the add-on

Sorry, my mistake. I compiled Kodi by hand from source.
Just tested with latest nightly and it indeed seems that the fix is not included in the build.

Are you on Windows ? If you want I can compile Kodi for you

Can you provide me a full kodi debug log ?
