Hi,
The Light IMDB Ratings addon for Kodi is no longer working since today. The Run button is greyed out. I'm running Kodi v18.9 in Windows 10 PC. The addon was working fine up to last Friday. I don't know what changed recently. Could you please check and replicate the issue to see if it can be resolved? I really like this addon and it'd be a shame to let it go.

Well, the "Run" button has been always grayed-out...Are you sure you are not confusing with another Add-on? Light IMDb Ratings Update acts as a service, so it is not possible to have that button enabled. Nevertheless, you can manually launch it by clicking on its icon under the Add-on menu in the Home screen of Kodi.

Hi axlt2002, sorry about complaining regarding this issue. I didn't notice that in the Estuary Skin the maximum no. of widgets in a row is 15. So when the addons exceeded more than 15 in number, the Light IMDB Ratings Update addon moved to the next page. Thanks for helping me out! I really apologize for my ignorance. Thanks for this great addon! Keep up the good work.

AWESOME. Thank you! My Kodi updated automatically to 19 on Android and lost this very special addon.

Hopefully I will release it by the end of this week. As a first release, it will be based on the 4.x version since I'm planning to include back the scan based on episode ID (as version 3.x is doing) as a next step towards a unique release without two different branches.

I hope this now populates my newly adopted skin Aeon Nox:Silvo with all the ratings.
Would be awesome if it also checked for rotten tomatoes since that skin now also displays those when paired with embuary.helper plugin (which im using).

Im using EMBY server and it imports the ratings when it syncs the .db but they quickly get out of date and I need your addon!

Please be patient in case of any bug...just report it and I will give a look into it as soon as possible. 

As anticipated, next step will be to work on this last version in order to reintroduce the rating update based on the IMDb ID of each episode. I will try to implement a new update method (some kind of mix between the twos) to reduce the update time as much as possible (especially for huge TV shows libraries) while maintiang the accuracy of the retrieved ratings and votes.

Can this plugin be integrated (somewhat) with embuary helper for skins that support it and show metascore and rotten tomatoes?

@axlt2002 Just ran the new version of the addon to update my TV Shows (didnt select episodes) and it's not populating "votes" field.
Is this the expected behavior? I think previously it was updating it.

NOTE: I have not checked the option "set IMDB ratings as default" in the addon but I just toggled it and I'm running a new scan. ---> Yes, this solved it

I did a vanilla install of Kodi 19 and scrapped using the TMDB scrapper that came with it but I just realized running this script that none of the IMDB IDs are populated, only TMDB IDs. Any suggestions on how to populate the IMDB IDs?

Hi @jsmith432, thanks for your post.

It looks strange that the TMDB scraper doesn't retrieve any IMDb ID...anyway, Light IMDb Ratings Update should also try to look for missing IMDBs IDs using the TMDB IDs (this is valid only for the TV shows). Please provide the update.log (read the first post of the thread) so that I can check what is going on.

It looks strange that the TMDB scraper doesn't retrieve any IMDb ID...anyway,

It does. But probably experiencing this bug after scraping... https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/issues/17444
