Sorry, I'm new on WebOS, I've read on another website that after 50 hours developer mode is automatically disabled and all app installed as developer are automatically deleted. It's true?
It was correct but LG bumped that limit to 1000 hours recently. It's much better than before. You can either refresh the limit on the Develop Mode app(officially developed by LG) on the TV or you can use this app to extend it automatically. https://github.com/webosbrew/dev-manager-desktop

And I just bought a NUC to play kodi on my LG tv in the bedroom (and wasted a week to get the NUC not to randomly wake up the tv in sleep mode) Sad

Set Audio delay to -/+.225s fixed the problem. Not sure if it was + or - 😅

Damn, now its really good usable… 🎉👍🏻🍀❤️

THX!!!

Me too have this problem, the delay is -225

----
EDIT: after some attempts seems that the correct delay to set is -275/-300.
I hope that also this little bug will be solved in the next versions

Only if your TV is rooted.

You can use DevMode Manager for webOS or the ares webOS SDK to install kodi

I have my tv rooted but when I go to /tmp/usb/sda/sda1/ the video files do not appear, do I have to manage any kind of permission?
From the dev-manager file manager I can see the files.

You can mount the usb drive if your device is rooted

Code:
mount -o bind /tmp/usb/sda/sda1 /var/palm/jail/org.xbmc.kodi/usb

Hello.

I tried to install ipk from this link: https://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/webos/ via ares-install
Kodi logo opens for very brief time and TV returns to last screen.

Firmware: 3.34.95
webOS: 6.3.2 (no root)

Do I need to to do something else? Like install some dependency etc.
I can try to obtain logs.

Thank you

The test build seems to be old. Could you try one of the latest nightly builds? https://mirrors.kodi.tv/nightlies/webos/master/

Try running this command:

Code:
ln -s /usr/lib/libwayland-egl.so.0 /media/developer/apps/usr/palm/applications/org.xbmc.kodi/lib/libwayland-egl.so.1

and then try to launch Kodi again and see if it works now.
