Bugs:
When using the Widget Editor on stock Kodi from play store, or Alpha/Beta, these issues commonly occur:

• When using the "move left/right" option in the 1st row (above sub-menu) to move items around, if you do it enough times, the selector will just shoot back to the beginning, and you have to re-scroll back to the item you were trying to move
  
• When clicking "options" in the submenu, and you click the shortcut you're trying to create, sometimes it will glitch and move the menu cursor (on left) back to the beginning (mid-edit) so when you're done editing, you've just edited a menu item you did not mean to
  
• When scrolling through the edit options on top (Home, 1101, 1102, etc) 1003 & 1004 do not highlight Music & PVR icons respectively.
  
• No option to define icons for 1106,1107,1108 so they appear in the left menu and you can edit the contents within (I dont know if this is actually a bug, or a UX misunderstanding on my part)

Hi @jurialmunkey, thanx for sharing with all your beautiful skin. I have one question about how movie sets are showed in widgets. I only see movie sets in movie title widget but not in custom playlist widget. It works for me in other skins. Is there a way that i can see it on your skin?

PD: I want documentary separated from movies thats why I use playlist instead of movie title.

I very much doubt it works in other skins because Kodi simply does not support grouping sets inside widgets.

Kodi only groups sets together when inside the library windows.

I can't seem to recreate this one. However, I do know that if you press the move too quickly before it had a chance to update then it can result in some weird behaviour so it's probably related to that. I think I just need to figure out a way to block a second click until it finishes reloading and that should hopefully fix these types of issues.

Submenu options apply to the *entire* submenu, not a single item -- so it doesn't matter which item is focused. Probably need to figure out a way to make that clearer.

Unless you're talking about something different? What I'm talking about is that side dialog which pop-ups when you press "options" button and it gives the "use as widget" etc. options -- those options apply to entire submenu.

Works fine for me. Icons are only highlighted if their shorcut will open that hub. Sounds like you set the side menu icon shortcut to open something other than the hub, in which case it shouldn't be highlighted because it doesn't open that window.

This is not a simple change to make. Believe me, I have considered this type of design many many many times over.

The keymap is a fair suggestion, but I'd still prefer to browse with verbose plot descriptions at a glance rather than having to key up the info panel on every single media item I scroll over. 

Verbose plot descriptions was a really simple change. I figured it out without any guidance or prior experience with editing skins.

For anyone who likes to read plots at a glance (and hates scrolling textboxes), here's how you get four full lines of plot description:

0. disable ratings in the skin settings
1. in font.xml, on line 163, change font_main_plot to "<size>24</size>"
2a. in Includes_Info.xml, on line 1780, change to "<top>0</top>"
2b. in Includes_Info.xml, on line 1800, change to "<bottom>-50</bottom>"

I’ll address this first as I think it’s the easiest to troubleshoot.

I do not see Hubs. Also, I deleted the userdata for this and the skin variables to ensure I have clean setup.

So if you have to select an icon to set the custom menu, I’m guessing there is a limitation of 5 menu icons, because how can you add a new icon aside from the 5 that are there?

You can change you're profile in Kodi's profile settings.

So you also like that the Header text doesn't change whatever category you open?

My Kodi setup is just for streaming and I'm using TMDb Helper for my categories & submenu and the other video addon just for my In-Progress submenu. And I don't like everytime I open menu and categories, different name of addons are showing in the Header. What I did is rename the addons that I'm using to Library so whatever category I open, it show only "Library". But I prefer a simple digital clock but Jurial removed it. Haha...


I want my setup to be just like one streaming app not a Kodi with multiple addon installed. In fact, I don't use TMDb Helper directly in my movie & TV show hub categories. I created a custom node because I want the names in one line only and change the icons to blend perfectly with the skin. It looks like this.

Yes, now when I set the menus to their proper hubs, everything works as expected.

And instead of deleting menu shortcuts (default hubs), I’ll just disable them so everything navigates as expected.

Great work with the new clock style and standardizing notifications! Looks very sexy.

I've got a question, although I'm not so sure if there's anything that can be done about this.

The remote I use with Kodi has a keyboard. As I am highlighting the search box, I can type into it. There's no need to hit enter or anything like that because your amazing skin continuously searches whatever string exists in the search box.

Now on my remote, when I'm focused on the search input bar, if I hit the escape key which is on the back of my remote as part of the keyboard, it backs out and brings me to home. This is perfect behavior.

However if I'm focused on the search bar and hit the back key on the front of my remote, instead of backing out of the search hub, it starts deleting text one character at a time. It behaves identically to the backspace key on the back keyboard.

I've been trying to use keymap.xml to control this behavior but it doesn't seem to be working.

Which window should I be referencing in the key map when I'm focused on the search input bar?

Fantastic Skin, just switched from AH2 the only thing I have not been able to find is how to see the status of the TV shows like you had with AH2, showing if the show was Returning, Ended, or Canceled. I think this is a great feature and has helped the wife avoid shows that have already been canceled.
