Arctic: Zephyr 2

Not a skin issue. Whatever add-on you are using is likely not filling the ListItem.Title field with the same formatting it does for ListItem.Label
Regardless, add-ons should not be adding formatting to labels. Considering it is mainly banned piracy add-ons that do this text manipulation of labels, I'm not remotely interested in making sure that it works correctly. Go complain to the add-on authors.

Sorry I'm new to this and wasn't aware of banned add-ons. Maybe you could answer just one more question about this. I tried some more add-ons (sorry their probably banned also) and no matter what I get the same results. If I switch to Arctic Zephyr 1 with any add-on I try the text font will pitch right and if I switch back to Arctic Zephyr 2 with any of the same add-ons the font will not pitch. If it's not an issue with Arctic Zephyr 2 then how come I get the same results no matter what add-on I try? Why is Arctic Zephyr 1 doing this but not Arctic Zephyr 2? I know Arctic Zephyr 2 is still in alpha and you don't care if it works with banned add-ons but this is such a nice feature in Arctic Zephyr 1. It would be nice if Arctic Zephyr 2 behaved the same way.

I don't know if it is related to this, but my Playstation Vue add on looks very different than in AZ1.  Basically, under a series it shows the year and show title. It used to show the date aired and name of the episode.  There is also a node at the top of the episodes with the channel that doesn't seem to do anything.

I already told you why they probably don't work - in some areas I use listitem.title rather than listitem.label - it is likely that the addons only manipulate the label field and not the title one.

We have a strict policy on the forum about not providing support for users with banned addons. So I'm not going to discuss this any further.
Arctic Fuse - Alpha now available. Support me on Ko-fi.

Unrelated.

Do you have a screenshot of the issue.
Also I don't know what you mean by "node". Nodes are folders in the library that organise library content via rules (e.g. Genres is a node which sorts movies into folder group based upon the genre of each movie. Recently added is a node which sorts movies by date added etc.). Nodes are basically smart playlists inbuilt into the library.

@jurialmunkey thanks for fixing the subtitle delay dialogue issue so quickly.

Sure. Here is the before and after.

The Fox thing is the node I was talking about. It is the channel but never showed like that before.

Could you perhaps add some other logo's for the submenus? I feel there is no really suited logo for the imdb top 250 playlist, for moviesets, for cartoons or for in progress movies. Or, if not, where do I put my own, and what specifcs do they need to fit the design policy?

How are you adding the playlist to the menu?
Playlists in Userdata showup fine for me:
"Choose item for menu > Video Library > Playlists > My playlist"

I use icons from https://iconmonstr.com/
Let me know which icons you would like to add and I can add them.

Well, that wasn't working for me. They couldn't be found, so I had to add them to the playlist folder in the skin folder. Strange. Don't know why. Any ideas?

I would suggest the following icons:
In progress/now playing: continue icon like https://iconmonstr.com/arrow-17-svg/
Cartoons/children's programs: Mickey Mouse (but probably not possible due to copyrights, I guess) like https://banner2.kisspng.com/20180429/dxw...116771.jpg or smiley like https://iconmonstr.com/smiley-13-svg/
Sci-fi: another rocket, like https://iconmonstr.com/rocket-18-svg/
News: newspaper, like https://iconmonstr.com/newspaper-3-svg/
Documentary: looking glass like https://iconmonstr.com/file-38-svg/ or binoculars like https://iconmonstr.com/binoculars-7-svg/
IMDB top 250: trophy like https://iconmonstr.com/trophy-8-svg/ or "create" a logo by writing IMDb and Top 250 under eachother
Movies sets: collection like https://iconmonstr.com/layer-15-svg/ or https://iconmonstr.com/layer-19-svg/

Unfortunately, it's still not possible to group the way I'd like without spending a day with the node editor grouping exactly the file structure of my HDD.
Essentially my structure goes as follows:
https://del.dog/MusicStructure.rb
As far as I know it's impossible to structure like that unless it's manual or unless I'm okay with every artist showing in the genre list. In my EDM folder that gets extensive as I have a lot of Monstercat albums so I keep those in a seperate Various Artists folder. So I kinda have to stick to the files view to keep my structure.
@Skittles9823

2 Questions:

1) Why is your hdd structure like that? If one artist has made 2 albums with entirely different styles/genres, you will have multiple folders of the same artist. And what about cd's that have songs in multiple gernes? Most people regard Artist\Album\Trackname as best practise.
2) If your id3tags are correct, every normal mp3/flac player would ignore your folder structure and let you browse your collections in any way you want.
@jurialmunkey Is het possible to get a 4th score, next to metacritic, rotten tomatoes and imdb, which would be my own rating, as given with the trakt addon? When not scored yet, the rating could be blank, or the "me"/trakt logo not shown at all.

Regarding 1, I know it's not perfect but it suits me well. I prioritise the main genre an artist makes, and my genre sorting isn't using precise subrenres so it still works.

As for 2, I'm aware. On my Manjaro install I use DeaDBeeF and am able to organise everything to my liking with playlists. But for Kodi I use LibreELEC, so if that's what I'm booted in and want to listen to music, I'll use the Kodi player.

Basically the best way to fix this issue is if it were possible to set a node at /media/SKITTLES/Media/Music/ and set the rules to just "Follow directory structure" but afaik that's not possible for some odd reason.
hello jurial, if it is not too much of an ask and if you deem it fit, can the spotify view be made applicable for artist widgets in the home screen?

I like the DialogVideoInfo in Arctic Zephyr.
May have a look on this: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2838388
Hi Jurial,

Not sure if this is a bug, but when using PVR, the OSD displays the following:

<Current Show's Title>
<Current Show's Plot>
<Next show's title>
<Current Show's Plot>

So it shows the current show's plot twice. This is on a fresh install, with TVHeadend as the backend. Could be related to the format/structure of the EPG data in AU?
Some shows don't have the artwork. How can I add it? Sorry, never worked with artwork beef or such things.
