Unfortunately I cannot search the thread with a three letter word "ISO" so sorry if this has been asked before, but, does this script support bluray ISO images?

I have CE set up to play just one trailer before a movie then I expected it to load the ISO and play the movie but it just exits back to the movie selection screen after playing the one trailer. Maybe I am missing a setting somewhere?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, thanks for posting this.
That change is unrelated to this problem unfortunately.
It also breaks my (previously functioning) stand alone movie quiz functionality.
I'll test again and post feedback in the movie quiz thread.
I'm assuming that you aren't actually launching movie quiz from Cinema Experience - successfully - are you ?
If you are then perhaps I've made some kind of error. Let me know.

With one small change in Cinema Experience, Movie Quiz will be started for the trivia.

there is a line that looks like this in _play_trivia in the addon.py file
the following

Code:

question_type = question.TYPE_MOVIE

needs to be changed to

Code:

question_type = 1

I actually have no clue(don`t use MySQL )

To be honest I haven`t tried using the Movie Quiz option in a very long time. If it does not work for you, could you please post a debug log.

btw. I wasn`t ignoring your previous post, just got distracted

I just installed Cinema Experience and Apple Trailers Lite. I have disabled all options (Trivia, Intro Videos, etc) within CE except for the Movie Trailers. Within the Movie Trailer options I have the following settings:

Movie Trailers - 3
Coming Attractions Intro - None
Coming Attractions Outro - None
Trailer Scraper - Apple Movie Trailers (Newest)
Trailer Play Mode - Stream
Preferred Trailer Quality - Standard

All other options are disabled within the settings.

From the home menu, under Movies, I select Cinema from the submenu. I am then taken to my movies and the instructions say to press Q to queue the movie. I press Q when selecting a Movie and I get a message that the movie is Loading Please Wait. Then the movie starts playing.

I get no trailers played at all for any movie I queue up. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong here? For what it is worth, I am using the Aeon NOX skin.

I seem to get the opposite, everything i selected from the options play but when its suppose to play the movie mine returns to movie library, any help with this issue ?

I am trying to find out what things are still an issue...as mentioned streamed trailers used to be an issue...also using tv tunes used to be an issue etc.

I have a bad case of the "stuck on the last frame of streamed trailer" problem. Whatever I tried, didn't work. Even with just 1 streaming trailer and nothing else, I still get the error about 80% of the time. I also tried the "download and play" option, but with that the trailers would download in the background, but trivia would fail to start (with or without music) I would have to quit the script by pressing "exit" to make xbmc responsive again.

Anyway, I miss the days when I had trivia, intro videos (made from Google Earth zooming into my house), streaming trailers, home automation - lights automatically flashing and dimming and the whole nine yards. My guests would be so impressed. Now I am back to just playing a movie off the library. Hopefully someone (I am looking at you giftie :-) will figure out the trailer problem so I can have my flashy addon back.

Ok I apologize for the bad posts. I finally figured out that the latest version was not installed. I had 1.0.46 installed as that is what was downloaded from the repository. I installed 2.0.53 and it is working perfect now with my ISOs!

Not sure why it downloaded an old version from the repository but I finally figured it out.

The old repo(Nuka's) only has the old version(1.0.46) I will be opening up a repo to supply Cinema Experience and test versions of my scripts) The script uses some depreciated calls that might stop it from being accepted into the official.

Every thing else should be good..

Not much that I can do. The problem is in XBMC not the script. I've already posted all the info for the developers that I can.

Since MovieQuiz starts up, there is nothing wrong with Cinema Experience. Twinther might have changed other things that breaks things(he might have forgotten about the access)

A full debug log is needed to figure out what is and what is not working. Also makes sure you are using the latest test version available from the first page of the thread.
