Are you running crystalbuntu on the ATV1? Or just the normal OS X?

I used Atvusb-creator. Not sure if that is crystal Ubuntu or not but I do have xbmc installed

OK. Try this version: http://www.mediafire.com/?e27t9ecw7crc4xz

Navigate to /Applications/XBMC.frappliance/Frameworks.
Backup the current librtmp.0.dylib file, or rename it to librtmp.0.old.
Copy the version you downloaded above to the /Applications/XBMC.frappliance/Frameworks folder.
Reboot.
Be sure to use the correct Hulu settings, as indicated above.

during playback i get the following errors in the xbmc.log, this is about the 30sec mark
Code:
21:43:04 T:1233388640   DEBUG: ffmpeg[49840460]: RTMPSockBuf_Fill, recv returned -1. GetSockError(): 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable)
21:43:04 T:1233388640   ERROR: ffmpeg[49840460]: RTMP_ReadPacket, failed to read RTMP packet header

anyone know why this error happens?

http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/xbmc/addons...-1.2.6.zip

Download and install that as an addon

Thank you for this - I've been going nuts the past few months trying to figure out why the hulu plugin stopped working - this finally fixed it for me.

This is due to your lbrtmp file not being current. Check the xbmc wiki on more info on how to update lbrtmp. Unfortunately , I have the same issue with my xios but I have not seen an updated lbrtmp posted anywhere for android. If anyone knows where to find a pre-compiled lbrtmp and the path on android please chime in. Seems that Davilla has it working on his pivos xios ds

Cannot use search, it just stuck at "loading directory" forever. I have to cancel in order to type the search and when search nothing come up, I get this from log.
I'm running on ipad3 and this happen after I ungraded to nightly build.
I have tried to use different librtmp and delete addon+user_addon and reinstall many tries but search will not work, everything else works great.
Anyway to fix this? thank you

Are you located in the US?
Are you able to log-in with the same credentials and watch videos on the www.hulu.com site with your web browser?

This did not work. My XBMC log uploader has a script error so i cannot upload any logs either. I read that I need a librtmp.so.0 file which i have, but i have no idea where to find or how to replace this file.

Please help.

OK.. then you are using linux on your ATV1 box after all. Which is much more complicated. There's several different locations where your librtmp file could be. Best bet is to search for it. Run this:

find / | grep librtmp.so.0

That should show you where it is.

As far as a working updated librtmp.so.0, that could be more difficult. You can try this version: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/477050/librtmp.so.0

But I'm not positive that one is up to date. It says it works with 11 Eden. Give it a try and see. Can't hurt anything. Be sure and backup the original.

I run :

find / | grep librtmp.so.0command in terminal, it goes through a search but all of the searched folders it says permission denied. I donèt know what

is going on. XBMC just has a script error when i try to run it.

*update* I did a full restore and reinstalled Linux and it is working now. Thanks for the help.

I am using XBMC on my ATV1 (firecore). I installed HULU and tried to play the episodes. After the ad or first screen (sponsored) the link broke down. How could I able to watch HULU on my ATV1 XBMC (EDEN).

I followed this which is provided from some fellow genious

Uncheck "Network Pre-roll".
Set Pre-Roll ads and Trailing ads to 0.
Uncheck "Enable Commercial breaks".

it works now. Thank you.
