Hello again, and thanks for all the work done lately. After the last out-of-sync problem was solved, I've been running a stable and problem free (for the most part) system with semi-regular upgrades. Today I did a dist-upgrade after 2-3 weeks of no upgrades, and something appears to have changed since that as after reboot the playback FPS appears to have begun to fluctuate heavily while the audio goes in and out of sync constantly.
I've been trying to keep an eye on this thread for changes, but I might have missed and forgotten something. It would seem that after the upgrade refresh rate and playback sync to refresh rate doesn't work any more. When playback starts, the display refresh rate doesn't appear to change. The log would seem to indicate that refresh rate adjust has been performed but there is no change and xbmc-xrandr doesn't look like the refresh rate was changed either.
I haven't done very extensive testing, but I checked the settings and for some reason the adjust refresh rate had been changed to off, which I changed to 'always' setting without any apparent effect. Reboot did not help either. This is what I still get from a video that worked perfectly yesterday, so a file problem can probably be excluded:
From xbmc.log
Code:
21:16:04 T:2794453824 NOTICE: fps: 23.976024, pwidth: 624, pheight: 352, dwidth: 624, dheight: 352
21:16:04 T:2794453824 NOTICE: Display resolution ADJUST : DFP2: 1920x1080 @ 23.98Hz (20) (weight: 0.000)
From xbmc-xrandr output during the playback:
Code:
<mode id="0x97" name="1920x1080" w="1920" h="1080" hz="50.00000" current="true" preferred="true"/>

I can provide a debug log tomorrow if needed and if this isn't just obvious I've just missed.
