The channel name with chinese still displays mesy code after installing the version plug.

To get the recordings logos I have to parse an html page per recording because that POS of API DVBViewer has doesn't provide them, and I tired of fixing their shit with workarounds that wouldn't be needed if their developers didn't ignore coders who want to use the API.

If it wasn't because DVBViewer is the best DVB app for Windows I wouldn't have spent a minute of my life working on this.

There is no database for recordings. I will add a check to not get the logos at startup if there are more than 20 recordings.

I think it would be the best to have both possibilities.
This will make it easier when you have more than one XBMC client with different favorites.
Otherwise all clients have the same favorites from the server.

I tried countless variations to get the favourites from the API since it isn't documented anywhere and I thought it wasn't possible.

Probably because is in chinese. That's the reason I wanted your epg.dat.

No. The PVR only gets the EPG data the recording service has.

That is bad, that SAT>IP is not supported by XBMC. SAT>ip is using UDP instead TCP by unicast.
This will lower the network traffic.

For sure the DVBViewer software will go in future more in direction of SAT>IP than to the unicast protocol.

i tried everything but dont get favourites.xml working. when i select this file i cant start livetv. i only get "there is no pvr addon started". i use win7 x64 and copied the xml to many different places but no success.

This is exactly the versions I use. I think I use the nightly version from October 13th.

what a link? and i use xbmc on an other pc than dvbsersver.
on the pc with dvbserver i use xbmc latest nightly and dvbviewer beta 4.9.9.1. in dvbviewer i see my favourites but not in xbmc. the files are new written today after i deleted all lists in dvbviewer and in directories.
