Oh, got the update five minutes ago. A little confusion, the returned response was a "poster" not the backdrop.

Anyone know of a way to change RT scores to a percentage? My skin is showing scores like 5.9, is that equal to 59%? Ideally I'd like something like this: http://i.imgur.com/MEGCT.jpg

That's a screenshot from a personal mod of refocus BIG I did (just for myself for the time being) some time ago. It requires a skin modification, though, it's not a feature of the scraper.

i would like the ratings to be scraped from imdb, but still have the option to set the movie outline to critic consensus from rotten tomatoes. Is it possible to move that option to general section?

EDIT: nvm, although the option is invisible it still scrapes the plotoutline from rotten tomatos critic consensus.

Can I just say, that this scraper is absolutely fantastic.

I just scanned my library again, over 1200 movies, over 140 tv-series/over 5500 episodes. I have no nfo files so the scraper does all the work.

Only 4 movies were wrongly detected.

- Two movies had incorrect year (or IMDB has changed it). Fixed the incorrect year and they were scraped correctly.
- One movie was wrongly detected, because 3 movies with the same name were released that year. Refreshed and picked another one, done.
- One movie was wrongly detected. After.Life (2009) always detects as After Life (2009) - note the dot between words After and Life. This is quite understandable. Refreshed and picked right one, done.

All TV series were detected and scraped without problems.

I know, I should have posted some strange problem, but I wanted to say thanks. Sorry about this.

First off, thanks for making this great scraper. I am having some trouble with some Chinese movies. I would like to display the title of the film as whatever is set as the USA/International title on IMDB and I've set the Title Language to USA/International, but when I scrape the info, it still shows the non-character Chinese title.

Example: http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0940709/releaseinfo#akas

As you can see on the akas page, there is a set USA/International title.

USA/International title = CJ7
non-character Chinese (also default title when you navigate to its normal imdb page) = Cheung Gong 7 hou

Interestingly, I notice that when it is rescraping, the popup window does initially use the CJ7 title (after selecting it from the list), but then it switches it back to the non-character Chinese title.

Am I doing something wrong? Perhaps I am not understanding how the scraper pulls the title from IMDB.

(Also, I am using zeppy's little mod to this scraper that uses google search for Rotten Tomatoes instead of by IMDB id. It also adds an option to set the language for the Original Title tag, but I've already asked him and he assures me he just added this function in addition to the normal Title.)

Setting the scraper to 'USA/International' gives me the title CJ7 on scraping.

Ok, I reinstalled Universal Scraper. I am still getting the romanized Chinese title (Cheung Gong 7 hou) instead of the USA/International title as a result. Here's a log of the scrape.

It shows that the ParseIMDBAKATitles function is returning the wrong title. I am sure the preferred language is set to USA/International. I just don't know what else could be wrong.

Don't know either. Try to rrun this in a clean test xbmc instance. Maybe your Db is somehow broken.

I think i have found a bug?

I set the scraper to get title from themoviedb. But when scraping the movie it still goes looking for titles on imdb, which in this case (f.e. child movie "Bumba") means it will not find the movie. When using themoviedb scraper it founds a lot of Bumba titles which are all available on themoviedb, but when using universal scraper it only finds the 2004 bumba version available on imdb. Same goes for "Cars Toon - Takels Sterke Verhalen", etc.
Can this be fixed so universal scraper will look for titles on themoviedb and not imdb?
