All medias are exported to ohter xbmc installation with samba, i've decided to install xbmc on that server and use this plugin, but i'm not sure how to configure things. should i map the local directories as sources in xbmc ( the one on the server) but then the clients can find the correct media?
Forget it, i've found a post on page 15 that discuss this and it's very clear :-D may i suggest to integrate the first post as to why one need to add the network drives as local and to exclude them from updates?

I will give it a go once local mounting of a SMB share isn't required anymore, will the new version be avaliable on the frodo repository?
Cheers!

Frodo? I've frodo RC2. It works.

You really shouldn't do that. Xbmc continuously create and delete files from the .xbmc subfolder, that's probably why you see it continuously scanning.

Is that sort of what its for?Yes it's in seconds, but keeping it at 1 shouldn't be a problem. It wont refresh one time for each file if you delete them at the same time anyway.

What should I expect without enabling that option? If you don't check it, it wont remove videos from the library when the file is deleted. People who use removable drives and such need the option to turn this off.
