what streaming addons work for scrobbling? I am using hulu, 1channel, icefilms, etc.. so does this scrobble these addons? I read the first post but just wanted to see what addons users were getting to work.

mmusembi, looking at your log file, for some reason the trakt plugin started 3 times, not sure why, and each time it never fully initialized, its missing a few key log entries which indicate its completely loaded. because of this, its not doing anything beyond this point.
Any idea what I could do about it? I've tried removing and reinstalling it quite a number of times but that never worked.

Try removing the add-on (uninstall), quit XBMC, and then browse to your userdata folder and remove any folders that relate to either trakt or traktr / trakt utilities if you've ever had those versions installed.
Likely locations (Windows):
%Appdata%\XBMC\addons\
%Appdata%\XBMC\userdata\addon-data\
Restart XBMC, re-install the plugin, and configure it from scratch.

@rflores2323 not sure if those workt, i don't think it has the metadata needed. The log file should tell for sure though and give some more details for us to look at.
@mmusembi looks like loads only 2 times now. Have you tried watching something or doing a library update after the trakt plugin has fully loaded?

I get a message saying incorrect username/password. I've checked that they are correct in the xml file.
It seems like it's not receiving a JSON response that checks username/password? Though the network is definitely working as the RSS Feeds fire up shortly after.
Perhaps that first request is being sent before the network is up due to the way OpenELEC works? Not 100% sure though, just a guess.

I've watched quite a few things, there's no update on my trakt history. But how do i know when it's fully loaded?

@tspen the main error is "[trakt] traktJsonRequest(): Unable to connect to trakt." That could be a few things including trakt being down or the outgoing connection being blocked on your end for some reason. Can you try 2.1.0 from github and see if that is any better at connecting? It has some new code to retry the connection.
@mmusembi can you attach a full log showing trakt loaded, then once you start watching and end watching something? That should generate a lot of trakt debug messages.

Perfect, bumped the retries up to 10 and that seemed to work.

Can you try the latest test version 2.1.0 on github? That replaces the connection code that was erroring out for you.
