Sorry but this request for a "Trailer" button came a few days too late, Original idea had the trailer button on floor with back/home buttons, but space was short & also only works for "One Line" type views eg in the middle of a full wall to get to a trailer button you have to first go over some other media items & the trailer then changes. Plus which I thought "Who needs to watch trailers of movies on their system ?" - obviously was wrong

Just out of interest why do you use the small popup OSD on the "M" button.

-- For trailers, why not make something like "Aeon MQ 4, this skin handle it perfectly" -- there is not button, and trailers are working in all views except wall view.
-- While watching a movie or a show, I use the osd on the "M" button to get subtitles -- I don't remember using the "I" button, but that's just me. The only thing missing on the "M" button is the "End Time".

Anyway, thanks for this great skin, it's my favorite.

A couple of questions for the future:

- I seem to have the Year in the fullscreen OSD display twice for Movies (and it seems to come from different sources, because sometimes it different). This started happening a while ago, I think after you maybe did some changes in that area (but I am not 100% sure).

Re the movie year, yep it's possible for some movies to show the year after the name if it has the year in the name I'll look into it but it may be a case of renaming those movies as I want the year up for some of the views & also previously requested to show year.

In my case it is happening with .strm files. In the File view (or Library view) for this library the Year does not form part of the file name. I'll double check the actual .strm file name on the hard drive later in the day.

I checked my hard drive and I can now confirm that the Year is indeed in every single file name for my Movies, so I don't think renaming them is an option (they get saved like that automatically).

However, the Year does Not show as part of the Title in either the File or Library views, so I am guessing XBMC automatically filters it out? Maybe the OSD can do that too in order to follow the same logic?

There seems to be a bit of an odd problem in the Skin settings between SubMenus and HomeMenus.

Eg: After Changing the User Selection 1 SubMenu Friendly Name to 'More', I then try to add it to the relevant HomeMenu. Adding works, but after being selected the Friendly Name shows as 'User Selection 1' again in the HomeMenu settings.

Found another small bug (I think) that wasnt present in previous versions:

- when trying to add an item from Favourites to a SubMenu or AddOn shortcut, only a total of 8 items are now appearing on the selection list, instead of all of the items currently in Favourites.

When trying to install the skin on ATV 2 via hybrid repo, the installation fails. With super repo, the download stops after 22%.
No problems with the client on the laptop however. Help?

This mod is amazing, great work. It has a lot of features added but maintains it's speed, much faster than many of the highly customized skins out there.

One thing that is an issue, is fanart for compilation albums. A typical folder layout for music is like this:

Music > Artist > Album > Songs

For a compilation album it would be like this:

Music > Various Artists > Album > Songs

When the fanart is displayed in Now Playing, it never finds the actual artist's fanart, it displays a generic one because it's using the path to find the fanart, so it's looking for "fanart.jpg" in the Music > Various Artists folder. In skins like Aeon Nox, users specify the path to their music library, so it will look for the actual artist name in the Artist folder (even if the music is coming from a compilation album in the "Various Artists" folder), and display the correct fanart. As an example, if the compilation has 12 different artists on it (all tagged correctly with the correct Artist defined), Aeon Nox will display the fanart for each artist. Confluence just shows a generic fanart from the Various Artists folder (if it exists) for all songs on the compilation.

When I play a video, just before it starts, I see the background image for about 1sec... I'm not talking about the fanart, but the default background of "videos". I have tested other skins, like hybrid, and things seems to be more fluid. This is not a big problem, but I hope you can solve it

The background is done slightly differently, to speedup the switching of backgrounds in the home screen. The lag you're getting is probably whilst XBMC loads your video & it'll obviously be more pronounced on slower machines. Don't think there's too much I can do but will play around and see if it can be changed.

Keep a watch on the arrow keys, the design is that from a media view to go down/right through the scroll bar to the back/exit buttons. it gets a little more difficult from there, but I prefer then going on to the left hand menu then back to the media view.

Yes, this now works as expected, thank you (ie: how it used to work in Eden). One exception seems to be in views where there is no scroll bar (because of only a few items listed) - in this case it won't jump across to back/home buttons.

Forgot that one, goes to show why things need to be tested Might have to make scrollbar visible at all times

WOW! This seems really important for those of us that are using little boxes such a aTV, RPi, etc.

Maybe an option to use a static image (as mentioned on the last page of that thread) would give the best of both worlds? Then it would look and function much the same as the DialogInfoScreen that now show in the top left hand corner. What are your thoughts?

Thanks if you have managed to fix the duplicate date.

I just tested the toggle to disable the animation and I now see that you have still allowed a static 'working' image to be shown.

All I was suggesting was to retain some form of notification, and you have already done that. Great work as usual

One more item that I noticed last night. Adding items to Favourites no longer seems to produce a DialogInfoScreen - maybe there are other Dialogs that are no longer showing up as well ?

I also just thought I would bump this, not to push you, but just so that it doesn't get missed
