Hi Mudislander,

I just wanted to use your excellent skin in on my laptop with XBMC but the Hybrid Development Repo says that both Skins are "broken". So I tried to use "Install using ZIP" but XBMC tells me also that dependencies could not be resolved and therefore installation not possible.

Any ideas?

Oh I am sorry: I am using XBMC 12.3. Couple of days ago it was completely ok. I could install CCM without any issues. Yesterday I wanted to install it on another computer and got the "Broken" message.

Quick question on 3D movie tagging. I though it read "3D" in filename and add icon. Why it works for case 1 and not 2?
- 1) moviename.3D.SBS.mkv - 3D icon show
- 2) moviename.3D.OU.mkv - 3D icon NOT show

Just checked for you. On the lists it looks for "3dbd" or ".SBS." so that is why #1 is showing and not #2

For the video cases it looks for ".3D." or ".3Dbd." or ".SBS." to show the 3D case.

Seem to remember an issue on my own collection with the looking for 3d as that was contained in some movie title.

Out of interest what is the .OU. - I don't own any 3D equipment so can only go on the advice of others.

It will be that one of the dependencies is not at the correct version. You can force it skin into XBMC by manually unzipping the zip into the XBMC addons folder in your user directory. Next time you restart the Mod will be there as an option.

OU is for Over/Under 3D, some call it TAB (Top and Bottom).

A whole new widget would need to be coded for this, doubt if I'd find the inclination for the work. My media system has satellite tuners but am now on cable so the whole PVR section is U/S to me.

I understand, this skin looks like it took a lot of work. I just switched to using an HDHomeRun Prime with cable card, this is why the live TV is one of my main goals right now. If you have cable I would recommend this device, 1 cable card gives you 3 tuners, the new one will give you 4 tunners and it connects to your network so you media pc picks up the tuners over the network.

One more thing if you do find some time, could you add the option to add "EPG Guide" as a submenu for LiveTV. It's nice to be able to go directly into the guide from the main menu.

I second the idea of having the EPG as either a submenu for LiveTV, or preferably a separate option so that it can be added as a custom menu item or submenu item. I have programmed my harmony remote with a button to go directly to the EPG, but I would also like to be able to do this easily from the home screen as well. Would make life easier for my kids and spouse.

@jmh2002 a "back" button sounds like it could be useful, the "playlist" button in music was added as a request some time back, didn't add one to the videos section as on average they are way longer than a song Will add a back button to video OSD or change the "Home" button to a previous screen button.

Sure - What also would be useful is what can be removed 'cause it's a load of rubbish - I have a few ideas on his one.

One thing I can't do which some users have requested is change to Gotham stuff eg update library button & subtitle stuff. This is a Frodo Mod.
