Thanks to the help from user: earlieb, EPG Video Window will be available in the next update...

It requires some XBMC skin editing, so I wrote a very crude patch to automate the process. It should work for everyone? The patch can be found in PTVL's settings under Visual/EPG:
BTW: The patch applies to the current (in use) XBMC Skin, so if you change your skin you will have to patch again.

For now only the PTVL skin will include the video window, when I have time I work on all the skins...

i just installed and selected autostart or something and now it keeps rebooting.when it boots it says 'autostart pseudotv live service starting' and then instantly reboots again before i can change anything.Please help

EDIT; got into openelec files and deleted pseudotv

I thought I saw in one of these posts where we can take .strm from other video addons we have installed. I just discovered the mashup addon and would like to add some of the cable channels (USA, TNT, etc) to my PTVL is that possible?

I never finished writing direct channel population via installed addons, but you can do it manually!

Because of forum rules, I do not support addons banned by this forum Wink

You will need to rephrase the question, so that I don't hear from mods over the matter.

Assuming the addon doesn't steal focus away from PTVL, and that it was coded correctly using "setResolvedUrl"
The easiest two ways:

"Mylibrary" You can find support on their thread. Once you have the strms you're good to go!

"Favorite" favorite the link you like using xbmc then open favorite.xml and try using that link as a channel.

Because all addons are different, you will need to tinker with it.

I uploaded the new version that includes EPG Video Window (Currently only available for the PTVL skin).
Remember to run the patcher found in visual/epg settings. You can also run the patcher again to uninstall it (currently the only way to disable the video window).

Can you both take a look in your xbmc skin folder in either 1080i or 720p, do you see a file named "Custom_PTVL_9506.xml"?

Can you both take a look in your xbmc skin folder in either 1080i or 720p, do you see a file named "Custom_PTVL_9506.xml"?

I use confluence and at it's 720p folder there isn't such a file..
