No, not a problem with characters... it's a problem with the new caching system... I didn't realize it doesn't like a result = 0, which happens when no tvdbid is found... It's easy enough to fix.

Unfortunately I see now I have an issue with the non english characters.PLTV can't populate channel if it's content(movies or tv shows)have not english "titles"
Tried also at laptop with a fresh install but with no luck.PLTV "loads"only the english title shows Sad

Working on tightening up bugs, nothings worse then enjoying Pseudo, then it crashes!
But I can't test on every system, and all media, sources. it takes logs!! to correct issues!

If you notice Pseudotv crash, or without notice exit back to xbmc (EPG stops working). Please send me that log!!

My next step currently in testing is self updating without the need to exit and start again. This will allow channels to build with the latest shows...
I will refer to this feature as "set-top box mode" which is going to be designed as a 24/7 replacement to cable Smile

So please send those logs, and include as much detail about what happened!! Thanks

So..
1) replaced code with latest git version (...noticed skin folders are sporting their CAPS Blush

)
2) deleted cache folder from Userdata/blah.blah...
3) opened Settings and enabled "Force channel reset on restart"
4) "Enable Donor Features" still enabled from yesterday

5) Launched PTVL (still set for "safe" Default skin), got a cryptic "Donor Import Failed, Temporarily Disabling Donor Features" popup, and then froze the machine with this:

6) engaged in mild cuss words.

I now leave it to you, to SpotTheBug from this log.

I didn´t post the full log, because its the same error, but if you need it i will upload it.. U Said that you will fix it in the next update, but its still not working.. Is it supposed to be working with the latest version, or do i have to be patient?

I´ve read that a user would find it useful if pseudotv wouldn´t mark the movies/episodes as seen, i would appreciate such a setting too..

If you are a donor you can't disable ga, it's part of my user verification process.

To be honest i'm usually the first to opt out of ga stuff (because most devs don't list whats being tracked)! That's why I have full transparency on whats being tracked!
Absolutely no info like IP address, whats being watched! I only track a few things: PTVL Version, PTVL Skin Selected, Donor Username, and if you are using BCT's

This info lets me know what priority to assign to features...

if you're not a donor then no user information is sent, if you are a donor well the term anonymous goes out the window since you are assigned a username!

Not possible, it's part XBMC's player, the only thing I could do is force xbmc to unwatch a show after it's watch! which isn't something i'm interested in doing...

Just a quick bug report. I'm having some issues with the amber skin that make the plugin unusable which is a shame because it's a really snappy skin! Once you open the guide and close it the keyboard controls no longer affect pseudotv and instead act as if it's a normal video open.

Steps to reproduce:
1. launch psuedotv live
2. press enter to open the guide
3. press enter to close the guide
4. press any key that controls pseudotv live (up/down/i/enter) and notice they no longer work
