Hehe... Getting more and more obscure Wink

12.4.0: http://filez.semperpax.com/5e9jhnh
12.3.3: http://filez.semperpax.com/ht6w24qy

12.4.0 stutters
12.3.3 is playing great on 720p, 1080i and 1080p. Found another winner!!!

SPMC 12.3.3 plays fiels just as good as the Ouya version but Ouya still has DTS option for your home theater and the SPMC doesnt.
This thread is rapidly expanding faster than I can keep up with.

Are there any plans on making a separate Fire TV section in the OS forums?

Ok, thanks. Will see what changed between the two which might cause the stuttering...

What price did you come up with from reship.com to ship to PQ?

Awesome. I'll test these tonight when I get home tonight.

Edit: Looks like someone already got to it.

In the meantime, is it possible to change the library version numbers, via a settings file, so I can tie XBMC for OUYA into my existing shared Gotham library? (I'm assuming Gotham didn't drop any tables/columns used in Frodo, but just added more, which might just be ignored by Frodo).

I am seeing the same, here is what I noticed:

Testing with 720p DTS MKV File

-SPMC 12.3.3 - Running Great!

-SPMC 12.4.0 - Very Choppy (More so than current Gotham build) After installing 12.4.1 I even reinstalled to try this again, but 12.4.0 is still problematic for me.

-SPMC 12.4.1 - Choppy but an improvement from 12.4.0. Not nearly as smooth as 12.3.3 though. I am also seeing artifacts during playback which didnt happen in 12.3.3

Are there any other versions in between 12.3.3 and 12.4.0? It seems like something definitely changes between these.

Hopefully this is helpful. If you need specific logging information or anything like that let me know, Thanks again!

Anyhow for those who care, MLB.tv addon confirmed working on SPMC 12.4.1! However, I had to disable libstagefright as as I experienced either video or complete app lockup. Didn't see any expert settings to try anything else. At the very least I can watch baseball today. I'll keep trying some of these other builds this afternoon as Sox don't play until tonight Big Grin

Good to hear, I'd also like to add that NHL Gamecenter streams (720p @ 60fps) are working as well. I was having issues yesterday but I'm chalking that up to the HDMI to DVI cable I was using at work. As soon as I got home and tried it on my tv all the stuttering was gone and playback was as good as my HTPC.

The only difference I see is when starting a game, the screen is completely black w/ audio. It's hard to explain what happens, but black blocks on the screen will start to be replaced with the actually video and it isn't until the whole screen is refreshed, about 5 or 6 seconds later, the video is displayed completely and continues to play normal from there on.

Again very minor set back here, for it being only 3 days old now. I am very happy with this purchase.
did you guys disable libstagefright or keep in on for the spmc and ouya versions

Yup.
Might talk to flumpster and try the beyond for ouya. I doubt the beyond for to rockchip boxes would work on here. Can't wait to see mine I should have it Monday to try.
