Hey everyone could you help me out real quick? I've downloaded everything and I can't figure out how to add live streams on it as channels. I create playlists on videos, but nothing. I also downloaded the "milkman" guide which includes all files and a variety of playlists, but I don't know what to do with it.

Using Gotham there are some movie channels that don't continue to play, they always start at the beginning when I switch to them. So even if I go back 5 minutes later it starts at the beginning. Just reporting some issues in case no one else did.

I had that problem as well, but I tracked it down to movies that had local subtitle tracks in the folder. Once I removed them, normal seek/resume playback worked. I haven't tried putting them back recently though, or moving them to another sub folder..

I'll try disabling subtitle in XBMC first. Otherwise I guess I would just search for srt and delete them?

I didn't say it was the build. I've tried a few different combos. But would like to know a working combo so maybe I can troubleshoot why it won't work. It's rather annoying because this is the only plugin I really would like to work and the only one I can't get to work. Resetting up xbmc is a pain everytime so sort of just want to try one more thing then I'm giving up on it. It works real well on my computer. I doubt it's my ouya specifically because it's not freezing and I haven't had issues with anything else.

is your pstvl.zip your are trying to install located on your ouya or are you trying to install it threw smb?
and i'm guessing by combo you mean version of xbmc and version of pstvl combo? thats what i was trying to tell you you don't need some magic combo only thing i have not tried yet is the very latest pstvl build. all other xbmc verions/pstvl versions worked fine together.

gotham seems to be working for me better then ever so far and chantype 15 only work's in gotham. a lot of plugins don't work in gotham though at least not for me but i'm sure most will get updated.

Ah ok. I wasn't too sure, I wanted to know that I didn't need some specific version, but maybe I do if you haven't updated to the latest and tried it? I put my zip on the usb and it installs totally and i can go in options etc and I can actually watch it with youtube only channels but if I try to add a channel with my videos it won't finish the adding items part. Just stops, doesn't freeze xbmc though because I can still move around and the screen will dim and all that. I tried completely re installing again, with latest XBMC for Ouya and newest master, and I'm still stuck at this part. All my videos are on an SMB share so idk if that's where the hang up is. Could I perhaps have the installer zip for your version? If I can't get that to work then I guess I'm sol. I don't see where to pickup old master zips, for know I'm having to watch my stuff through some of the playlists I setup in preparation for ptvl :c

what format are the videos in that you are trying to populate the channels with? i think i know what the problem is from my experience pstvl using video's over smb has some issues with certain file types. try creating just one channel with avi files see if that works if you can.

Mp4's. So I tried that, made a movie playlist that has the rule 'video codec is xvid' and that worked, so I tried it a few times. And all those channels were built and played, even though it took like a minute or two to change channels for some reason. So I added in a tv show that had like 10 episodes, that worked and the channel change to that one is less than half a minute. But I tried adding another show with a larger amount of episodes and it stopped adding after a few videos. So idk what's going on. The avi playlist had like 30+ in it but the mp4 one stalls at less than that so idk if it's the amount. And my entire library except a handful of movies are mp4's. :c I convert them all myself with maximum compression and compatibility, they play on anything I put them on, if my source wasn't mp4 to begin with. (which the 10 that had played well were 720p's I did personally so I know it's not my encodes) This is frustrating as hell

yup mp4 is one of the files that i had problems with i'm pretty sure thats the problem they work on pc in pstvl. but if i try to build a channel on my ouya with them it just freezes. i'm pretty sure pstvl just does not like to receive mp4's over smb for some reason. cause the files play on my ouya but pstvl just freezes when i try to add them there.

Seriously....Is there any workaround? This makes this totally worthless for me since my entire collection in mp4s... I don't see why it would do that, like I can do everything else with them. Well so much for all that work...

Is there a limit on how many characters a "plot" can contain in order to be seen all at the tv overlay or epg window?Because I have some "big" plots and after about 150-200 characters they stop with "..." at the end and i can't see the whole plot even if i have autoscroll enabled.
