So I am currently using Frodo and get most of what I want, I keep reading all these issues with Gotham so should I wait to update? Is it worth updating this early? Your opinions are much appreciated. Thank you.

In all seriousness, backup your Userdata folder first, and then go with Gotham.

Most of the Gotham "issues" are simply cases of

or certain add-ons not updated for Gotham yet.

Gotham is working with no problems here on 3 different machines.

I have Gotham on 4 devices and it works with no issues so far.

I'm using Gotham 13.1 on my midnight box and loads of trouble with addons not playing
Was think of going back to frodo my self n just wait till 14.0 helix is out

I stick with Atlantis to avoid any issues in newer releases of xbmc... Tongue

If an addon author has not updated for Gotherm what makes you think s/he is going to update it for Helix?

I can't honestly tell the difference but then i only use the basic's of xbmc i install a skin setup my SMB Shares scan content in and that is about it the only addons i use are Artwork Downloader and the XBMC Backup i run it on Windows so for anything else (youtube, etc... i just use a browser

I am sure there is plenty under the hood but i just don't use it so cannot really compare Smile

and now because it popped in my head soon as i used the word compare

I don't notice much of a difference on x86 but on android it's definitely worth it . But well, why wouldn't you just stay up to date? As long as you use only basic functions of XBMC it's not going to hurt you.

Gotham 13.1 on both my Android makes a big difference from Frodo. And while at it, I also installed it on my two Windows 7 HTPCs and love it. I wouldn't go back.
