In general, I think if we go all caps on a logo then even the "i" should be in caps. While we're honestly not worried about the KODi stores in Germany, it might still be wise to avoid their same capitalization. More than that, I think the uppercase "i" also helps avoid the "kiddie" feel a little more.

its nice, but now the O look like a C, and as others said its look like KOK...

I like the plain version a lot.
Sadly I don't have the graphical creativity to do it myself but I hope someone else takes up your suggestion to play around with it.
