Yes, it is.

I did that and it unfortunately is still missing.

I would love to have a separate process that I can kick off with a scheduler that is not part of XBMC or the Plugin that creates/refreshes the channel list. I have background loading on, but still when I start the app I occasionally have to wait quite a while for my channel to be loaded. This feature would make it so that any time I start PTL on any of my systems, it doesn't have to bother with refreshing channels, just start up.
I realize that depending on how much PTL uses the XBMC libraries for scanning, especially with other plugins, that this may not be possible, or if it is possible it may be a lot of work. I just want some feedback. I have a server that doesn't run XBMC, but serves all the files, and the PTL settings and cache.

Hey is it possible to manually set a different video limit for an individual channel? For instance I have my global limit set to 250 (performance seems to take a huge hit when I go beyond 250 per playlist) but I have a channel I use for my BCT's that is a mix of about 10 other channels interleaved. It works really well but I'd like to be able to set that channel to be unlimited (since the vast majority of videos on it are between 30-60 seconds) Is such a thing possible in PTVL?

Not sure there is much you can test... it's too buggy to use... I have to track down the crashes and fix them... Thanks tho.
Maybe test out My music tv?
