Hey Luna,
i'm also having the "smart playlist" problem, probably unicode problem,
i wanted to ask if you can make the "auto update" an option for choosing,
i know you dont want to support earlier versions but i think that a version downgrade can be helpful when there are bugs in the new version,
for example my 1st channel and most important is smart playlist with kids movies, my kids knows just how to start my HTPC, after that xbmc launch automatically and PSTL also with channel 1 so everything is great,
now this channel doesn't work and they cannot use PSTL, if i could downgrade to the previous version without asked to upgrade it would be great, until a new fix would be available so i can auto update again.

I'll allow PTVL to launch after selecting "no" to update.

This program is still a beta, not even at version 1 status yet..Because I'm always overhauling key components... The Development branch was setup to avoid issues like yours from making its way into stable. This time it snuck in.... I can't guarantee it won't happen again. But I will get if fixed by tonight. Hey Luna, I'm noticing something interesting. I have "Dynamic Artwork" disabled, but PTVL is still spooling artwork. That's normally not a big deal, but on my low-power R Pi, it's really killing it. Will post logs when I can get my Pi to restart safely.

Also, this last time, I didn't get a notification about artwork spooling...However, I tried to change the channel, and it locked up badly in the same way it did during spooling. Thanks Luna!

this log was taken directly after the crash? I don't see a channel change, only that you started PTVL... no crash nothing after that... what channel type is it trying to load? can you make sure you have level 1 debugging on xbmc and recreate problem then send log... thanks

Took me all morning, restored tve aftv an removed everitging including my loginns and settings, fresh start,, only installed what was nesesary for this addon to work, waited until it loaded all channels for more than one hour,, finally it started and as soon i changed the channel the whole xbmc crashed!! Dont know what else to do!! Tried everything from a to z,, read all forums installed kodi, the last ghotham, master, developer,im starting to think its aftv incompatible please help!!!!!http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=282105

@ xavier.ba I'm sure there are many bugs using firetv... I personally haven't come across many. The only two I'm aware of is auto update not downloading and slow xmltv parsing.

Your log doesn't show any problems... So I have to assume its xbmc and firetv... I own a firetv but never have time to play with it.. at some point I'll tweak PTVL for firetv and add app channels

Ahh! No wonder.... I have tried so many diferent configurations and options, in my other systems its working perfect!! Please fix this problem!! There are hundreds of aftv owners having the same problem !! Everybody wants to try this addon!! Hey there, I'm going nuts here! I had this add on going perfectly with USTVNow, but when I tried to add some YouTube channels something got messed up and now nothing works! At first I was getting the "Unable to populate channel prompt", but I've since uninstalled and reinstalled both PseudoTV as well as USTVNow (even deleting the roaming files). Now my local media works fine, but if I try and add USTVNow (whether through Autotune or manually updating the settings2 file, it just gets stuck on "loading". What's going on here? Especially since it worked perfectly earlier! Log is located at: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=282322. Hope I did this right... never had to do this before.

EDIT: Tried reinstalling, now it's stuck on "Unable to populate channel prompt" again when trying to do USTVNow, as well as YouTube (from the Autotune section). Debug log from when I tried to do just USTVNow at http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=282395. Thanks!

I'd have to agree with you, but even after reinstalling PsuedoTVLive and not using YouTube at all it still won't work now!

I am playing around with creating some channel logos. The problem is that when I change a logo, the old one persists in PTVL. How can I cause it to refresh?
