IMPORTANT:
The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that may provide access to content that is freely available on the official content provider website. The watching or listening of illegal or pirated content which would otherwise need to be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team Kodi.

Would be cool if there was a separate thread for skins where they could all be collated, with a link to it from Page 1 of this thread. Would really help to see what is available. Navigating this thread, even with search terms is getting quite unwieldy.

It might also help motivate people to create new skins.

There is a section of custom skins at the end of post 3 at first page of the threadSmile
Testing some beta hdhr firmware and this is a web interface that they have for viewing. Thinking that this could also apply for ptvl and look pretty nice.

would be nice if @Lunatixz could add this to the end of post 3 to see if anybody may be interested in picking up where others left off.

Maybe @Lunatixz can quote this info to the first 3 posts somewhere in case somebody wants to update for PTVL. Most are from the same thread btw. Also props to @thedarkonaut.

Anyone who had issues, try it out let me know if your problems are fixed...

4.09b fixed the lag issues completely for me. Running two machines side by side it seems every bit as smooth and fluid as 4.07

Great work as always!

haha just trying to help. data is cool, unorganized data is not because its meaningless. thats why I tried to link all past, present and future skins in once concise thread. high-five for the quick menu.

now go end edit the end of post 3 and link to my skin post Stare

I`ve asked this before, and hopefully I`m not getting annoying, is there a way to access subtitles in PTVL?
Thanks.
This is a great add-on and I would like to contribute my time. I noticed that the first post could use a face lift, in terms of tone and layout. Mainly I wanted users to understand what the add-on is, how to install it, and ask for help properly. Currently I feel that starting the add-on forum with STOP!!! is off-putting, although it helps weed out those less capable, this add-on doesn't have to be immensely complicated.

I took a shot at some of the information and rearranged it. If people like this tone and style i'll continue to edit, if not then I'll let it be. While it may look similar I think this offers a better starting point then the current post... my two cents.

What is PseudoTV Live?
It is an add-on for XBMC that combines your media into different channels and places them in an Electronic Program Guide (EPG). Each channel is created from your own content/add-ons* and can be based on genre, network, movie type, LiveTV, Internet TV, Youtube channels, etc. It is different from Jason102’s PseudoTv in that PseudoTV was designed for local media. PseudoTV Live adds tuner and internet features in addition to local media. two plugins differ in that PseudoTV was designed for local media. PseudoTV Live adds tuner and internet features in addition to local media.

How do I install PseudoTV Live?
Please read the first three posts before downloading... This is a very robust add-on and to get all the features working and running smoothly, it is extremely helpful to have read these posts. Many times a problem or feature has already been mentioned and support is provided in the first posts.

1. Download and Install the required dependent add-ons that let PseudoTV Live function:
Required Add-ons: Recommended for autotune & Live Channels: Recommended for enhanced interface:
2. Download the main PseudoTV live add-on and install.

Help! I ran into a problem and need support!
1. Make sure that your problem has not been covered in the first three posts
- Common problems, solutions, and instruction can be found in these posts and are a great first place to start.

2. Make sure you provide a DEBUG LOG in the support forums
- The more information you give, the quicker a solution can be found
- How do I provide a log?
- Check here for general log information
- Check here for advancedsettings.xml information
Remember, to post logs, you need to enable both Debugging in XBMC and in PTVL (under Misc settings).

Any help is appreciated, I'll take all changes into advisement... btw Theres a negative tone to the post?

There is a list over at the community list labeled InternetTV.xml it needs to be put into the proper format, you will see a few examples then a messy list under the examples, can some format everything for me?

If you are not a member send me your gmail and I will add you to the contribution list.

Thanks

Hi here is the formatted list that you wanted:

Also, I think its much easier to make the settings2.xml from the community list format than manually editing the settings2.xml. I also think instead of ch_type number, we can use word like internetTV, youtubeuser, youtubechannel.

As a trial, i tried to create settings2.xml from python script using xml minidom. But whatever channel i create for pseudoTv using this script, it's just ignore that channel, feels like that channel dont exist. Here is the script i run from the python to get the setttings2.xml.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/4chh82ludssfs4...s2.py?dl=0

I would like to know what type of library ( ET or xml.minidom) you use to create the settings2.xml from community list. Is there any specific encoding i have to use? I tried encoding utf-8.

Ultimately, what i want is to make livestream xml or m3u file to be read by the script and give me the pseudotv settings2.xml.
Thanks for your great works
