Thanks for the new YT addon! I had one question but I used the Search and found the answer. Still I think a lot of people will have this question, perhaps you can add it in the comments of the addon:

"History" is not showing, you can select it via Configure but it won't work because Youtube API v2 and v3 do not support History"

I installed the addon simply via the XBMC repository.
Cubox-i with Openelec 5.0.

You can download the 'strings.xml' under 'plugin.video.youtube/resources/language/Spanish' or you create a fork via GitHub...change the 'strings.xml' and request a Pull Request.

Ok, I tried and got stuck right after cloning the repository Sorry, Im no expert. But saw in the proyect that there is already a well translated Spanish string.

I saw that all videos show the "1x1." text as if all where tv episodes.

Is there some way to see the number of views a video has and/or sort by that? I'm looking for a "most viewed" page like the previous addon had.

I can get the view count for a video, but the quota is "2" for that request (APIv2 hasn't really a quota). Also, if we set the play count of a video, the video will be marked as watched in KODI. The "dirty" solution to display the view count in the plot/description. But I have to think about that.
"most viewed" is "Most popular on YouTube". With APIv3 some things change
