On Helix 14.0, the add on has suddenly stopped working for me. The file it generates in keymaps is still there. However, when i edit my presets, the previous keys do not show with the combinations (key ids) saved. What could cause this bizarre behaviour ? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Wow!!! What an useful add-on - I started to fiddling around with keymap.xml but this piece of code made it sooo much easier to configure my remote. Big Cheers to Takoi!!!! Works flawlessly with my Mele F10 Deluxe / Openelec 5.0

It doesn't work. I ended up manually making the keyboard.xml file in the userdata file. Atleast the remote keymap id code the keymap program said was the same, That was frustrating as heck.
