Great plugin but I cant find the Live-streams anywhere..? still not updated with them/ that feature? like it was in the old app version.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
as for your questions:
I do have another video addon installed - XBMC Torrent, and it is working with no issues.
regarding the python version, OS X Yosemite comes with python 2.7.6 pre-installed, but,
Kodi for mac comes with python 2.6 lib bundled in Kodi.app/Contents/Libraries/lib/python2.6
I did try to put there the lib of python 2.7 instead, but then Kodi fails to execute the add ons completely.
As I said in my first post, I'm using the latest version of Kodi which is 14 (Helix) for Mac.

Have you or anybody else but me ran this addon on this version ?

I organized Yosemite and try to test this in the next couple of days. Hopefully the image of Yosemite is working in a VM It has something to with python 2.6 and the classes I use.

Yes I believe so if i´m not mistaken.. and I dont think I am.
it was an own line/meny at the bottom and in the end they didnt work very well.

I'm using the default skin, confluence, and I'm having trouble signing in. Nothing is displayed aside from the "Visit youtube.com/activate" but I don't see any code, I checked the log and it produced nothing fruitful. I did check the addon cache and found a settings file for the youtube plugin. The Login hash reversed to dev/null.

If the video isn't available in 1080p for the API you will get 720p (like for most videos). Search the forum for YouTube 1080p and DASH to know why.
Also you won't get 'Watch Mojo' videos in 1080p if you selected it, because they mostly publish in 480p

For those of you who are testing the beta...I updated to beta~3.

Please check your settings for the 'Video Quality' I added by request some additional SD-Qualities. So the INDEX moved a little bit, so you must (only once) adjust you video quality

Also I made some changes regarding MAC OS X 10.10.X based on Python 2.6...maybe this will work, I don't know for sure.

Its a Kodi issue, not a YT* or addon problem. YT 1080p is dash streams, Kodi isn't able to play dash (yet ... ?). (@bromix: maybe you should add the info about the 1080p dash limitations to the first post, its easier to reference that )

* YT can't stream/display in higher resolution than the channel owner uploads in. In the reencode thingy that YT does, the lower resolutions are usually available first, so if no HD option is avilable wait a while and check again, or it may simply be a low res video.

Newbie here. Just updated to Helix 14.o and Youtube 5.0.1. I'm also signed into my youtube account via the activation page.

My problem: Using Aeon Nox skin and trying to access trailers like I used to (from individual info page of each movie in my library) I'm being directed to the Youtube add-on "frontpage" and not the actual trailer for the movie. There's no automated search like before. Is this no longer possible since the update?

Please help!
