Mudislander , just updated to 3.0.8.

Quick first impression, I like it.

The new background theme image, and especially the new default font, the new CCM logo are just some of the noticable changes that impressed me

Also appreciate the left panel slideout fix, which used to be "locked" in library mode when using the keyboard or controller. (I am not really a mouse junkie)

May have to send some more euros your way.

I like the font, but it's got problems, next update you'll probably have to select the font and backgrounds from settings as they will still be there but not as default.

I've just been informed today at work that I have to go out of town for a few weeks to babysit a project that has gone off the rails.

Can someone take over maintaining the To-Do List? I won't have access to my Kodi systems and my time will be very limited. Sorry, quite unexpected.

I can update it tomorrow with the last couple days items.

Don't worry about the list, if no-one else does it I can page back every now and again.

If I have all four options in the Video OSD Settings turned on, then when turning on subtitles while watching a movie by using the hotkey 't' I get the subtitle popup but also the onscreen "now playing" info bar. Should just be the subtitle popup. Turn off any of those four settings seems to make this work properly.

This should now work - I've adjusted the info screen to not show when subtitle popup is showing - Guess I'm going to have to use subtitles for a little while!

I don't see what New Media Banners does...

New Media Banners - New = Unwatched Once you've seen all your movies new ones added are the only ones not watched so "New"

You can turn them off.

Disc Type Media Cases alway on regardless if the option is on or off.

Not all views are working with cases ATM but the Disc Type Media Cases, is a small thing from previous skins - we can never agree to what type of case to use, One that represents the disc eg BluRay, DVD etc or my option as it's a digital media system - the file type eg DivX, MP4, MKV etc.

Replace ".." option is meaningless for me if there's even a hint of performance hit.

Think I agree with you, it was a request from previous skin long ago - If nobody says keep it, we will drop it.

I don't see what Enable Additional Media Art does. Dependency on something?

Removed floor, Option still says "Home Floor" - but I moved it to Global Section Anyway screen shot below has no floor and transparency set to max so you can see "Additional Art" Another thing I'm not sure is beneficial, but where are you supposed to put all the artwork everybody wants nowadays

Oops, no, turning any of the four does not make the subtitles popup work properly. They all need to be off. Also note that with any of these items on, also displayed along with them is a Kodi symbol in the top left, the clock in the top right and the X in the top right, I guess for mouse users. Not a bad thing I guess, but would be nice if the top left symbol could be whatever has been set as the preference in the Skin Settings (Home Top Left Info Area).

Or you could just change the initial focus when using the down arrow when leaving the menu bar, so that Favorites gets focus first.

Re the Kodi symbol top left, I put that in because if you've set that area to show the profile in use that's there instead - useful if you've set profiles for "others" you can see with ease whose profile they may or may not be using.

The "X" I normally take out and stick in an extra button to exit full screen but again left as "Orig Confluence" - See I did make some concessions

Please dont try to change everything, the version 3.04 was nearly perfect.

Now I´m thinking to use the standard confluence.

Sorry you can't with only the skin, I actually did originally have the replace ".." option also looking at the "* All Seasons" to remove the "*" - maybe it's something to test out with "Convergence"

It's an idea to maybe show the "TVSeries" banner there - I'll look into it.

You could try searching the forum for your problem - there maybe an edit of "advancedsettings" that you could do.

Decided to start from scratch. Concentrating on all the icons, folders etc.

Let me know if I'm on the right lines before I carry on doing the 280+ image files?

I have read all the posts & will probably re-read them, but may not reply to all straight away. There is definitely 2 types of guys using CCM ATM, boba's post below actually hit home - So I think maybe we should dial back CCM a little back to defaults on initial install background, fonts etc. - But as I find it difficult to restrain myself at times (who'd have guessed) I think I'll revive Convergence, where we can have fun and test out mad ideas, of which the better ones will come to CCM - the plan is except for the home screen the two will be very similar. Convergence needs a bit of work to get it running (screenshot as proof) and I will add in a horizontal menu choice but the widget will have to stay as in the screenshot to accommodate vertical and horizontal menus.

Great idea mudis. Don't get me wrong, I love tons of the features that you offer, otherwise I'd be using standard confluence ;-) thanks for your hard work again. but your initial statement and idea, to keep ccm as close to default confluence as possible were absolutely right. let the user decide which features, mods or fonts he might want to change ....

Wow Where do I start - I take it waking up to this is due to time differences and not the fact the you guys never sleep.

Firstly thanks to the guys who've sent in donations, the wife actually managed to go to town over the weekend and have coffee with a few friends - and left me alone to work on CCM

Wow, every time I go to read the CCM forum, it seems the posts have grown exponentially over night. Looking forward to seeing convergence again. As long as there is CCM though, I'm very happy. I like to play around with some of the fonts and backgrounds as well and put in my own, but I agree that putting the different variables/options into settings might be the best idea. That way we can turn off/on what we like.

No problems, I understand different people like different things, it's the reason we're branching out to a new MOD so CCM can remain a little closer to Confluence - including the Confluence logo ??

Yep, standard logo would be great :-) like you said, different people like different things, and the new logo ... well I don't like it ;-)

Yep CCM is going nowhere maybe a few small rollbacks first - I also need something to mess around with to see what works and CCM is obviously not it
Good ideas if possible will be brought back to CCM

@ Mudislander: You mentioned that you preferred start-up animations without sound earlier in this thread, well I just got done installing to a new system on the main L/R TV/AVR combo and it damned near blew the speakers apart, how can I disable the animation, or at the very least the sound, please!?

*Note to self to maybe get into the habit of scaling the volume back after watching an action movie the previous evening!
