Okay, and this brings me back to my original question where in i guess i did not state that i am using the confluence default on 15.1. but can't find where to set the amount of days in the forecast for OpenWeatherMap Extended. Is it only in the version that is available on the first page of this post, or is there an option to set it somewhere in the confluence skin that installs with 15.1?

p.s. as per your suggestion I have set default.py back to MAXDAYS=6

Not working again..... jus a heads up

you saying that changing the amount of days to forecast is not currently working?
It did before?
How was it changed when it did work, or was it simply a selectable option.

there is no such option in the addon.
the addon will always download a forecast for the next 16 days.
this is the maximum that is provided by openweathermap.com
i'm not 100% if they provide a 16 day forecast for every location though,
maybe it's less for some locations.

it's up to the skin how many of those days are displayed.
confluence, for instance, will display a 14 day forecast.

if you don't see a 14 day forecast in confluence, then maybe openweathermap.com
does not supply it for your location.

Hello ronie

Is it possible to integrate video forecasts, in future versions?
It would be quite enough, for global weather forecast.
I think that would be very useful, I was tried it with some Addon but it is not working as expected,
especially because I can not find the video for global weather forecast in the English language.

Best Regards

well, which website provides those weather videos?
and more important, do they provide them through an api?

HI!

I was tried with this link and something like this:
http://video.news.sky.com/video/h264/vod...302700.mp4
But the link is dynamic, and is changed every day.

I was pulled the link from this page
http://news.sky.com/story/1344914/sky-ne...r-forecast

that's one of the reasons the site needs to have an api :-)

another one is that simply scraping their website to get the video url would probably violate their TOS.

Anyone else seeing wildly inaccurate weather results from openweathermap.org? I've had to quit using the addon as temperatures are routinely off by more than 10 degrees Fahrenheit for Northern California. It's almost comical when it says it is raining and I look outside and it is 80 degrees and sunny.

Yeah some days are accurate and the later days aren't. The other day I had temps all in 200's and 400's. I was like I think I would be dead if this was accurate Tongue
