Getting so close to Pluto.tv, but still not working. I'm on 0.6.1 now. I think I'm all set up properly, but 1) I don't get guide data in my EPG, and 2) When I launch a channel, it just continuously plays the Pluto banners. I'm able to browse the ptvlguide source in the in app channel config. I can launch Kinkin's Plutotv plugin, and it plays fine.

I wanted to post this example for you guys... to give you an idea of what's possible with PseudoTV Live. One thing my wife misses is her diy/HGTV/Travel channel shows after we cut the cord.
Below is an example how Interleaving can pool multiple plugin sources to create one channel "HGTV".
Setup is pretty basic channel 223, is the main channel "HGTV" the rest of the channels don't play and are hidden from the EPG, they aggregate media to channel 223 using interleaving.
The configuration below was assembled using the in-app channel manager.

Channel 223, setup to play popular diy shows:
advanced rules:
channel name 'HGTV'
interleaving channels:
823
824
825
826
827
828

Channel 823-828, various plugin sources.
advanced rules: Dont play channel (hides channel from EPG).

Hello,

Using the PseudoTV Live's Channel Configuration Tool, I setup channels for all of my TV Series.Works great; except, when refreshing, the TV series M*A*S*H is not picked up. M*A*S*H shows up in the selector in the Channel Configuration Tool but does not appear in the EPG. Kodi scrapes and displays it without issue. The series folder name is MASH.

Is this a bug or am I doing something incorrect?

Have you checked to make sure you were logged in and set at the proper bitrate? I had ustvnow stop working and it turned out that some how I was no longer logged in and the bitrate was set higher than free users are allowed. Once I logged into my account from the plugin settings and adjusted the bitrate everything worked again as expected.

Edit: Never mind, just started up after the update and I no longer have ustvnow either. Will play with it in the morning and submit a log then. Going to bed now.

Any chance you could make an update to the skin? After updating PTVL I'm getting told there's something wrong with the custom theme so I think something in the latest improvements may have disagreed with your skinning. I really like the skin though and hope you're planning on continuing to develop it!

is there a way i can have a normal channel bug appear on screen and use a different logo in the channel list?

i remember once upon a time you could add "_c" to the end of the png file you use for the logo, but that functionality doesn't seem to exist anymore (or i'm too stupid to use it..)

Update changed the xmltv field in configs from "ustvnow" to "ptvlguide". So you'll have to update you configs.

look at your settings2.xml file and see if there is space in front of the channel name (<setting id="Channel_XXX_rule_1_opt_1" value="channel name" />, you can remove the space and it should work, as long as the .png file is named the same without the space. Also make sure the channel name is less than 18 characters in length.

Thank you. I wasn't aware that updating the program deleted any custom skins. Thankfully the SKY skin is still available for download and wasn't that big to begin with so not a big deal. Sure would be nice if this was mentioned somewhere in the changelog.

Not a big deal. Turns out PTVL deletes the custom themes on update for some reason. Will just recopy and continue onwards. Sorry to have bothered you, but it had never occurred to me that this would be expected behavior.
