never seen a PL match in a higher resolution than 540p.
so wondering why some people discuss that they can watch PL in 720p and golf in 1080p.

golf channel in 1080p is available for me as well (not fluent as speed is too low - another topic, I know), but
PL is always in SD quality in 540p.

Have you tried configuring the add on? It gives you the option to increase or decrease the stream rate.

add-on version 1.0.0 as mentioned in the forum.
I've tried with kodi on raspberry pi and win7 notebook.

I changed the setting to 2200kbps and that gave me 720p res played wiv out a prob

Not all matches has been shown in 1080p or i. The quality has always varied.. Matches that does not include top clubs normally does not get 1080. If you keep it on max quality you'll see.

Interesting... every prem match I've watched so far has been 1080, plus it was Arsenal v Liverpool (2 top prem clubs - big game). I'll keep an eye out for this in future but it was the first time I've seen a game drop to 720 so suspected it had something to do with the fix. Like I said earlier though, Golf Channel still in 1080.

Maybe I was mistaken then because the Man U match looked a lot better and that was stating it was 720 but so was the Liverpool game earlier which was definitely poorer in comparison to normal even tho that was saying 720.

I can't get it working, I have downloaded kodi 14.2 & swapped it from Gotham 13.1 xbmc, turned my usa vpn on n all I get is playback error message! Any help/update would be appreciated guys...

OK, cool. I'm using PIA so wondering if it is VPN specific although I'm using the same service on my android devices without any issues and other addons on Windows Kodi are fine. I'll test another VPN service to check.

Thanks for that I've actually tried updating to Helix and using eminence with it. There seems to be a problem with Live TV in it though in that when you select Live TV > TV Channels it just shows a blank black screen for me (EPG seems OK, but I never use that). So unfortunately I seem to be stuck with a choice of no TV or no footy lol. ...or changing skin I suppose but I've got Eminence customised exactly how I want it and I honestly can't see ever wanting to use a different skin. It's perfect for me. Will have to see if I can get that aspect of it fixed if I want the footy.
