I came specifically to see what the word was about that devicesupport video. Good to see you're on top of it, bromix. Youtube remains easily my single most used addon.

If many other people come asking, it might be worth including a note in the original post letting them know you're fixing it. But if it's just me and velvet, it's probably not necessary.

Little update to test some stuff. You will have to re-loggin...and enter the code twice. The first one is for the YouTube TV API and the second one for the addon. The YouTube TV API has a working API for 'My Subscriptions' (v1 ...F U Google Smile

). This one seems to work. You will see in the Beta 2x 'My Subscriptions' - one is the old and the other the new one.

This is awesome improvement especially if you subscribe to channels which occasional decide to do a mass update / spam. How far back can you go?

I dont' why...but my last test was able to list 183 videos instead of only the last 50.

Aren't they breaking APIv1 also? The google announcement specifically calls out older smart TVs.

Only for integrated (native) clients Wink

but if you're using the web-page YouTube.com/tv (which some of the newer TVs are using instead of a native client)...this will work Smile

Ahh! That's actually their brand-new HTML5 client, the one they want everybody to use, material design and all. If that uses APIv1, it should be perfectly safe.

I could have answered my own question regarding the new subscription method, I have 7 full pages (50 items) and page 8 which has 3 items.

For some reason Watch Later, Liked, Videos and History are blank and/or have been populated by most recent plugin viewed videos, On youtube.com everything works fine and has been updated properly too. Cache problem or bug?

Try to delete the cache of the addon. But I think it had to do with your account and not the Addon. YouTube is some kind of a mystery.

Yeah its an account problem, I'm getting the subscription info from my "main" account but the the rest of the data is from the Google + page which is actually what I use, (I think) which only has 1 subscription and none of the other data. Something like that :lol

I just noticed one thing: The fanarts aren't displayed in the v1 method. Aren't they supported with this method or just missed?

The fanart is my own doing Wink

nothing what any of their API is/was providing. I missed that in the beta12..I will add it in the next (possibly last) beta.
