In my Kodi system (14.2) I see the version of the CCM Helix skin is 3.0.3, reading this forum I see higher version numbers. I have used the Kodi interface and clicked check for updates on the skin add-on - but it's still at 3.0.3.

Is there something else I need to do to get the updates?

My CCM version is 3.0.15. If you have downloaded from any other source than the one listed in the very 1st post here you may not have the current version for Helix.

You should have

Hybrid Development Repo V1.0.0 HERE
Once you install this repo you'll be able to get the proper version of CCM for Helix.

Looks to me like you may have THIS version which is not correct.

FYI: I found a small typo in IncludesHomeWidget.xml that affects visibility of the focused image for the suggested movies widget.

Line 541 has $INFO duplicated and should read as:

Most of the "]" bugs come from the ability to change font colour and have been looking for them, by all means shout out if you see one not mentioned.

The other problem ATM is with TVHeadEnd , so Live TV is on the back burner for a week or two - but will get it running again.

This is using Tvheadend :-) Let me know if there's something else to test/look out for in Tvheadend in CCM Helix.

I have CCM Helix on Kodi 14.0.

I am using the 'Unwatched Movies' widget on my home screen.



The problem is, even after I remove movies from the Library they continue to display in the widget. I even totally clear the library and reboot but this widget continues to show the old library contents. Does the Unwatched Movies widget use Library as its source or something else?

Thanks for the great skin. I am wondering whether it is possible to reduce/eliminate the delay from when the fanart poster comes up and then the movie information popup. I prefer it to be faster as in the default confluence skin.

One thing that is frustrating me is when a home menu item takes you to the last place you were in the library

ie, if you werte last in "Compilations" ... then when you select "Music" from the main menu ... you go straight to compilations

For those less tech savvy, I think it would be much more intuitive to always show the root music library screen each time you choose "Music" from the main menu.

I guess I'm not tech savvy enough to figure out how to do this ..... the CCM music "sub-set" items has a library entry which gives the functionality I require .... how do I elevate that funtionality to the "Music" item on the main menu? what am I missing?

Any swift help greatly appreciated as I fly home in less than 24h

Try adding whatever it is that you want to your favourites then select the music menu to use the favorite that you selected. If you can't add it to favs then use superfavorites

This demonstrates the difference between the keyboard commands. The escape key = backout go home the backspace key = backout one level at a time.
I use a windows version of Kodi on a Zotac Zbox. I use a Flirc programmable USB IR receiver and send commands to it using an old WD TV Live Hub Remote control because I have 2 of them and because they have all the media type buttons on them you need for kodi. I program the Flirc to receive from these remote controls keyboard commands. So I setup the HOME botton on the remote to use "ESC" and the back button to use "Backspace".

You didn't mention what you use to navigate Kodi but I hope this helps...

Hummm, isn't that usually called "Material"? Looks kinda dull to me but to each his own.....maybe a good option for a "theme" for the skin as there are those that like that look. Just sayin'...

CCM for Gotham had Weather Fanart enabled. Does this skin have that option? I've looked for it, but can't seem to find it.
