That is not true. It will prompt and refuse to start every single time until you either do as it says or alter the script to bypass it.

I am having thee same problem. Disable the automatic video& music automatic playback notice prevent psudotv live to start. I tried disable in kodis configuration, restart the pc, nothing helps. Thank for anyone that can help.

I'm changing the prompt from "Required" to "Recommended".... and i'll have it only prompt once after each update.
If you use PTVL for any non local content, ie InternetTV, Plugins, Youtube.... Its highly recommended you disable both options.

Readme was changed to reflect this info... Proper way to exit PTVL is by hitting: escape,close and previous menu button.

In the works...

First the bad news, I will be dropping all skins (PseudoTV Live v.0.6.2+) except for the "PTVL" skin... Which will eventually be replaced with one single default skin that is currently in the works and is a mix of Comcasts X1/X2 and the newer TWC interface.

Why? I hate breaking the great skins currently available... but, skin limitations hinder the expansion of this program. It's easier for me to program with a clean slate, rather than worry about being backward compatible.

When? after I push v.0.6.1d which will restore the original "customskin" folder and fix some minor issues mentioned here. You can lock in this version by disabling my repo in kodi.

Future of PTVL? I plan to heavily increase the user interface for PTVL, including new EPG's, DVR screens, full feature "Ondemand", Search, Etc... by the end of this project i'd like PTVL to be a full featured cable box replacement identical to x1/x2 and twc. Custom skins will always be welcome, I plan to add a "Custom skin" download manager to PseudoTV Live before this project is finished...

Same problem here, the other problem is it keeps channel bouncing (channel times out and it goes to the next channel) especially when its trying to build the guide. I'll see about posting a log if I can figure out exactly how to recreate the problem. It's defiantly exiting the program at random at that's something I've never seen before.

Will the original custom skins folder still work in 0.6.1d? I understand you dropping all the skins temporarily, it turns into an administrative task that takes time away from more important things like core program development. I just want to hear that I can still develop customs skins and run/test them on my own rig moving forward beyond 0.6.1d. even if official support has been temporarily suspended.
