Release Aeon Nox: SiLVO
(2015-06-20, 16:22)rarazxp Wrote: @marhutchy & mikesilvo164
After setting up my homevideo/pictures as you suggested me to do I came across JustUseTheFileName scraper and decided to use that. So much easier in the end. I excluded my files from my main movie library. So that I dont see them in the moviewall.

I made the different homevideofolders as Submenu each and can pick a folder to few the content.
Only thing is that it would be nice for the Default Select action of the Mainmenu, to give me the mainfolder so that I can click down in it into the different homevideofolders. Any idea how I can get that to work?
I can't find the right action to bring me there.

What's the custom action code that you used for the submenu items?

Cleaning up library is stuck at 19% and makes Kodi hang.

Any idea how to solve this?

This happened right after you did the scraping, etc?

1) Backup your MyPVRChannels.xml in the skin folder.

2) Paste the content from my version of the file, located here:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/manija...annels.xml

3) Save, (re)start Kodi and see if it works better.

Thanks Mike this works great for now!

For one of the Custom main menus, for the Default Select action, paste this
ActivateWindow(10025,"path to folder housing home video folders",return)
Path would be the path to the folder that contains all the folders of your home videos.
I'm assuming you used each folder's path for the submenu?

Try temporarily disabling that new scraper, and see what happens.

Every time I restart Kodi I still get that "Loading media...." message in the top. And it wont go away.
Btw, it happened before I installed the justfilename scraper.
Somehow the options to disable JustFilename scraper are greyed out. Not sure why.
I tried disabling the Watchdog scraper.
I guess I have to rebuild the library?

The Default Select action is exactly yours.
And indeed the submenus are each subfolders path.

Hello everyone. I am faily new to xbmc/kodi. I purchased an Mx3 android box recently and love it. I thought I loved the way the regular default skin and now Aeon nox 5 redux look. But then I found the AMAZING looking skins people have created/modded. Wow. Beautiful eye candy. How can I install Silvo Mod on my android box. I cant seem to find the proper steps to install on an android box. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I have Kodi Helix 14.2 installed.

Exactly mine?
I don't understand what you're saying here Huh Smile

About your other problem. I'm no expert at fixing Kodi, but I've come to understand a few things.
It's no coincidence that error started while you were dealing with your home videos.
Plus, I'm new to using media from paths directly without them being added to Kodi's library via a source.
Here's what you do: go to your settings>system>debugging and enable debugging. You should see something appear in the upper-left hand side of your screen.
Reopen Kodi - as in, exit Kodi and then re-open it.
When that error appears again, wait for a moment - probably 5 minutes, and then exit Kodi.
Go to your Kodi folder:
PC: Start - type %APPDATA%\kodi - press <Enter>
MAC: /Users/<your_user_name>/Library/Application Support/Kodi
Open the Kodi.log file>copy everything>paste here debug site>click paste>copy the url>paste it in the reply.
That should tell us what's happening.

If that doesn't help us, you'll just have to disable that main menu that you added along with the sub menus. Remove all the home videos that was added. If this helps, you'll have to do it the other way: using nfo files.

Remove the quotes surrounding the filepath in the custom shortcut.

That is just for the main menu entry issue.

I added resolution and format cases for live background and in skin settings you can enable a live background for movie sets for all views. I think I tested it well enough but if anybody is interested in those features, please test it for any issues, it is on Git.

Thanks.

@mikesilvo164,

Great work on the skin mod !!!

I've been using it for a bit and noticed one issue with the FANART image on the info panel.

For example, under MOVIES with SHOWCASE, FLATTEN, INFOPANEL when a movie is played then stopped the FANART "disappears" or "does not show" on the INFOPANEL. Moving left or right to the adjacent MOVIE works perfectly - display wise.

One other thing to mention is that the RANDOM background image feature is selected.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

yeah, it looks like someone else has the same issues where the video related info doesn't disappear on pause screens, etc and its not a skin issue but an Isnegard issue

Thanks for the link.

The issue I noted above ONLY affects the FANART for the current MOVIE being played while everything else appears to be stable/visible. The above issue linked is not the same.

He wasn't referring to your issue.

I can't replicate this. Can you describe the steps to reproduce in more detail? I just played a movie for a minute then stopped and saw no issues with the fanart for the InfoPanel. Are you using the hide on scroll setting in the skin settings? Please provide the skin and Kodi version you are using.
