That's what i did yesterday evening. Everything worked fine, no problem. It was a quick fix and i can recommend for anyone having this problem.

On another topic: i found that i can manually put the Chromebox to sleep using the powerd (Power Manager daemon) from the shell inside Chromeos. I wrote a mini shell script that executes the command needed. I am now wondering if it is possible to get this script to run from an icon by click? Going to shell and executing the script manually is not really user friendly. Also i could never get my girlfriend to do that
Executing shell scripts by icon click, would enable me to build some handy mini tools i guess.
