[RELEASE] NetfliXBMC - Unofficial Netflix Add-on (Win/OSX/Linux) - Thread 2
(2015-07-19, 12:03)nickr Wrote: Netflix does on x86. You need the chromium addon, and to add widevine to it.

Is it:

And within this addon you will find widevine?!

He states at the first post that Netflix will not be supported, is widevine a way around this then?

pls read the thread i posted. it says, that you have to copy the widevine file - the exact name is in the thread - into the /bin folder of the chromium browser addon. widevine is needed to watch encrypted media like netflix. chromium is open source thus widevine is not part of the browser.

I keep getting an error logging in. Tells me to check my logs. I'll post it here.

Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Guessing Netflix changed something yet again?

Dear Community,

I apologize for this kind if "double posting", but I think I should have posted my question within this sub forum and not a new thread, since the experts may be found here, i assume!
Would you please be so kind and have a look at my thread "Kodi 15 - RC2 NetfliXBMC Problem" (or maybe some admin could move it)?

Thank you very much!

Lately I've been having an issue where selecting an item to play opens the Netflix home screen, rather than playing the item. This happens with both Chrome and IE. Any idea what's going on?

I had the same problem. did a full uninstall and reinstall of kodi and it fixed.

Not sure what's going on but I can not get this to work at all. Ensured the Chrome addon was enabled. Installed the XBMC browser. Login credentials are correct. Yet every time I click on the Netflix addon it begins logging in but then errors out and hangs. Kodi isn't really frozen, I can move the mouse around and click on stuff (gui sounds still play etc.) but the logging in window is preventing me doing anything except a force quit.

Not sure which part of the log is relevant so I created a fresh one and then only started Kodi and tried to access Netflix so that extraneous info was limited. The Pastebin link is copied below.

I guess is the same problem with Kodibuntu, right?
Even if I run Kodi as an application, I have the same problem (I mean, using the desktop session and not the Kodi session).

I cannot get this plugin to work, i can browse through the library, but nothing will play, i do not get an error visibly in kodi that i can see, just nothing happens when i try and play something.

If anyone can see something in my logs that will help me get this working?

I have exactly the same problem. I had tried different options in advance setting but nothing works.

SImilar problem here, everything works (going through the netflix library, etc) until I try to play a movie/episode and goes directly to script error
