Why does it have to be done using a VPN, and not DNS settings? Given the DNS settings method works when using my laptop, and it also allows me to play the free stuff through Kodi on my Amazon Fire TV?
When my AFTV is plugged into my normal router the free stuff doesn't play on NBC on Kodi... but when it's plugged into my router which has the unblockus DNS settings I can play the free stuff, it just says to check my username and password when I play premium stuff. That's why I'm confused... 'cause it seems like the router with unblockus's DNS settings is getting past that region lock...

save me reading back through all these pages I'm getting there's a problem logging into the this addon. I'm using a VPN which I've used since day one and I'm also logging in using a username and password which worked a week or two ago now it keeps telling me to check username and password. I am playing the free stuff no problem. Any suggestions how to get logged in?

I use the official app on my windows phone and kodi app. I have both using the dns method. Both use the same official login. Windowphone works, kodi doesnt.

Hi, any chance you could get CableOne.net accounts working on this plugin?

Just to confirm, if you have XFinity Or Comcast (Same thing) accounts and are trying to use SmartDNS through the KODI app, it will not work - it will work on the official NBCSn app/website, but not through Kodi. Erack has confirmed this is to do with the Captcha system that XFinity/Comcast uses. XFinity/Comcast + SmartDNS + KODI App = Won't Work.
A VPN with American location does however work. One way around this (What I personally use, thanks to Olliepop) is to connect via VPN and SmartDNS, login through KODI app, once connected, disconnect VPN and let SmartDNS take over - SmartDNS is more stable for me personally.
If you are on FireTv, just use the official app, from what I've seen difference in quality is minimal.
Zorb - Erack has mentioned that he can add any Cable Providers to the KODI app, but needs login details first so he can code it into the app. If you are willing to give him your CableOne.net details, I'm sure he can add it (Obviously don't post them on the thread!)

I use a vpn not smart-dns so why do I get script errors while on the vpn but do not get them when not on the vpn?
