WIP Ember Media Manager 1.4.x BETA - Discussion Thread
is there anyway to show the size of the actual movie file in the main listHuh
I need this as I have hundreds of old cartoons I included for my kid. he is now too old for them and I want to delete them from the library.
Regards,

PJ
I am using the latest version of Ember but I cannot for some reason get it to download the posters of some movies. I have tried a variety of settings, I am using my own API keys for TMDB but it wont pick them up, I know there are posters available because I have manually downloaded them. Am I missing something, please help!

I don't think we store any filesize data of videofiles in the database at the moment. I just did a quick lookup at supported fields for mediainfo and its definately possible to read "filesize" of videofiles during metadata scan - it would be a new database field though... I have another point on my todo list regarding metadata scanning (real aspect ratio calculation support for beamer guys out there) so I will add this (maybe we are switching from mediainfo to ffmpeg alltogether, I recently discussed that with Dan). Don't expect that for the upcoming beta release though Wink

Movie name?

It is various movies, leaning more towards the lower end of the spectrum of hit movies
For example 88 (2014) EMM says no posters available, but TMDB has some, https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/307479-88/posters
All of them is marked as English, so what language are you scraping?
If not scraping in English you have to set English as fall back, otherwise you get nothing

You have to change the movie with context menu -> change movie and select the correct one (also change the year). Ember search the movie with year 2014 and what you want is the movie with year 2015. Thats the reason why Ember can't find a poster.
Ok, I uninstalled EMM and reinstalled it, and now, it seems to be downloading the posters....so far, will post any progress, cheers! Big Grin
