PIA VPN is what I use and can not fault it. Roughly 25 GBP converted from 40 USD on the 12 month subscription. You can have 5 simultaneous connections too.

Any issues using it on OpenElec/Raspberry Pi's or Windows etc?

None at all. I have kodi on a Mac, a windows machine, a raspberry pi 2, and an android phone. All happily running PIA simultaneously.
My raspberry pi is running open elec and there is a PIA add on that I use on this.

Do you need to use any other service like Unotelly DNS or VPNicity etc to get this addon to work?

No i have a Comcast Xfinity log in, and then just use PIA to VPN.

Great. I'll give the 7 day access a trial and if all works, I can cancel my other vpns and dns things.

I keep deleting the program data as suggested earlier but has anyone worked out a permanent fix for this?
