I have small kids and some of my channels aren't appropriate for my kids ('sega' movie channels for example) but because PTV hasn't finished parsing them I can't turn it right away to Nickelodeon or something. I don't mind waiting a minute for everything to load so "use last channel" works as expected. I can change the setting is PTV Live but when I launch it, the setting seems to revert itself.
My setup is as follows:
Kodibuntu 64bit Isengard
3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
6GB RAM
Radeon HD 4350 PCI-e Graphics Card
Live TV provided by HDHomerun Prime
As you can see my setup is plenty powerful enough for this so I'm not thinking I am tripping any compatibility things like I would be if I were on a Raspberry Pi or something. I can grab a log if needed, but I don't think it is a bug so much as something I am ignorant of.

Thanks
Let me better explain... when you exit PTVL Kodi physically looks like PTVL is finished so that you can use Kodi. While actually running in the background to finish threads (process) you started. Most of the time this isn't noticeable. Give it a few seconds if not a few minutes depending on each users setup.
Thats all the input I will give on "exiting"

Wait for v.0.6.6 to see if that fixes your performance issues... or provide a log for me to review... simply telling me something is slow, can't possible resolve the issue.

I'm sorry if this is explained somewhere obvious but I have searched and can't seem to find this information. Can't answer the sleep mode thing (I assume button remaping) but for the way to get options you should hit the information button (i) and when the usual stuff about the episode/show comes up, use the directional buttons (up, down, right left) to move to the left. This should display a side bar on the vertical left side of your screen. There should be a button for player controls, which should bring up the standard playback control for your Kodi system theme and you can make your way to the settings you need.

I've tried just copying the Settings2.xml file but it does not load all of the channels. Is there a step I am missing?
Thanks

settings2.xml between lite and live are virtually the same. The only difference that stands out is chtype 7, directory channels... There is no reason you can't use your old settings2 in live.
