Yes, as soon as a beta is available I will drop support for Cinema Experience and switch to CinemaVision. It will happen the same day that the beta is released. Will only take a few minutes to switch so the update on GitHub will be ready very quickly

I follow that thread so I will know when it is announced and the plan is to update as soon as I can.

I just had an installation error.
Did an new clean installation of kodi 15.2rc1 and wanted to install the silvo skin zip (from the isengard branche).
After ~1min it just says "installation failed" with no further information.

Anybody experienced the same problem?

(PS: I'm on Windows 7)

EDIT: Problem solved!
Extracted the zip file then renamed the folder to "skin.aeon.nox.silvo" and moved it to the addons folder.
The Silvo Mod now appears in the Kodi settings and everything works fine.

Let me also try to explain the reason for that previous statement by saying that if you ask me to stop working on the skin to tell you how to do what you want when I have already said it will be added for the benefit of all that use it, that response appears to be, a little selfish

I have never renamed the file to be fair, i just moved it over to the addons folder as it is after being extracted and seems to always do the trick mate

Sorry for the late reply .. I have just had the chance to try the update file regards the issue with cinema experience and it works great my end.... brilliant!!!

Without being too cheeky I wondered it it would be possible to add a shuffle and random on /off selection to the side bar when playing music. I generally use a remote to steer Kodi and find it impossible to access the menu at the top of the screen when playing music to do this.

Also I see in earlier posts that many people have inlays to there movie box sets, for example there is a Jurassic park one in an earlier post. I have turned on an option that I thought would do this but to no avail. Am I missing something ? Do I need another add on for this any help would be great. I also apologize if this is added in the wrong section.

I look forward to any responses.

So I looked around and haven't been able to find anything that kind of correlates to my problem, well it really isn't a problem but a missing feature. I checked through a couple of posts here and nothing.

So here it is, this is absolutely my most favorite theme on Kodi. Aeon Nox was my favorite and the the silvo mod makes it so much better, one of my favorite features being the OSD when playing a video and you pause it. Where it shows the summary and possible clearart logo and everything. Its probably the reason i got this mod, even the OSD for Live Tv as well, but i have been adding entries from plugins like crunchyroll and playon with XBMC.Mylibrary and Pseudolibrary stream generator. So it links up to the plugins, everything work's fine, everything integrates neatly and everything plays. BUT the OSD for the scanned in items does not appear, the summary or clear art logo is not there. If you go to a movie that was added in it doesn't have the stats like "1080p Dolby digital" which is obvious since its a .strm file so Kodi doesn't know the quality of the stream before it opens, if i play it and pause it, it does give me that information. But even in the information section the CDart doesn't appear either, it only appears with files i have physically on my pc. For example i can have season 1 of adventure time on my laptop and have season 2 as a scanned in strm file from Playon and netflix but only season 1 will show the clearart and the summary info, while season two just shows the video info. Even when you exit full screen view and on the bottom left corner you usually have the series poster or season poster or screenshot it always just shows a question mark for the strm file even if all the information is matching. Is there anyway to get the summary and clearart logo to show up for the .strm files as well and not just files physically on the computer?

I have never renamed the file to be fair, i just moved it over to the addons folder as it is after being extracted and seems to always do the trick mate

I recommend renaming the folder so it can avoid possible issues with accidentally having two different skin folders, one from Git and another if you installed manually using the first post link or through the repo.

I will look into adding the buttons. In the meantime you can map a button on your remote to perform any command using a keymap (wiki) file.
If by inlay you mean the boxset brochure then you must activate it in the view settings of the ShowCase view and if it is empty then you need to download the latest skin.info.service from Github and make sure you delete all other skin.info.service folders before install or extract the folder and remove -master from the end of the extracted folder name before placing it into your Kodi addons folder.

This is a tough one for me to help with since I do not use this type of setup but if you are adding .strm files from places like Netflix to the library then all the info you scraped should be available. The call to display those items is basic, if you have plot or cast info then show it if you enable the setting (check the updated FAQ in post #3 on the first page of this thread for more info). It should even work for addons like YouTube so I am not sure why it wouldn't work for you if you have added and scraped the files to your library. For the images to be available you must add the artwork to the DB by running artwork downloader after configuring the proper settings for it.
Perhaps others with a similar setup can offer more advice on how to help further...

Yeah its difficult to diagnose because it can be hit and miss. Sometimes i get the summary but not anything else and other times i get nothing. I know everything is scanned correctly because like i stated i can have a season of one series on my laptop and the next season scanned in using pseudolive strm generator and the clearart shows up on the first season but not second. Like for example, i had Attack on Titan on my PC, and it showed the clearart and the summary of all the episodes when it was paused. When i found Pseudolive strm generator i tested it with Attack on Titan first. And it scanned in just fine. I went into my library and i had two of every episode now, one pointing to my TV Shows Folder and another Pointing to the Crunchyroll Plugin using a .strm file. They both had identical info, the summary and screen shot and run time and company info and release date and all that jazz. Except one said "HD" on the flag and the next one didn't. The one with HD was the one i had my pc and the one that didn't have that info was the .strm file. Now i played the first episode of it and the info was all good, then i tested the first episode but opening the .strm file instead and the info no longer showed. But obviously it was scanned in right because even the year and network name and episode name show up on the top. Its not pressing or anything but like half of my library is in .strm files now and im missing out on the really cool OSD that i liked lol. So hopefully someone can enlighten me on the subject.

But after adding this to line 9 and do a Install from zip file, Kodi says "Add-on does not have the correct structure".
I used Winrar. Something special needed when replacing the file in the zip?

I am confused... Why would you add it to the zip file and install from zip. That makes no sense
Just add that line to your current file and restart Kodi if it is running.

If I were you, just extract the whole zip file then rename it to "skin.aeon.nox.silvo" and then do the edit there. You can then paste it in the addons folder so you can overwrite the files or delete the old folder.

Maybe he was trying to do it in the zip since it’s the master file and re-install using the zip.

Extra settings dialog to control settings relevant to the full screen video info screen and the seekbar (last button to the right on the player controls)
Added some transparency to some panels (if you do not like it say something )
A secret test setting for mouse users
Misc fixes and small changes
