Hi BigNoid,

I don't have the option to rollback skin.shortcuts so can I just override my files with those from a backup?

I can only find the Master branch on github for skin shortcuts, can't see a branch for Helix?

As a workaround until the repo versions sort them out (if I understand correctly what BigNoid has done!) you can try the branch on my fork here - https://github.com/Ignoble61/script.skin...ix-nox-fix - which includes the default submenu's from Nox 5 within the script.

Thanks i've overwritten the files, just waiting for the mrs to get in so she can reboot and test.

Ok, I can't seem to get this to run under Jarvis now. I'm using a raspberry pi 2 with the nightly milHouse builds from the rpi sub forum. The Silvo skin has been running great until the rpi nightlies moved over to the Jarvis alpha. Now whilst Aeon Nox still runs fine under Jarvis the Silvo skin slows down massively and a whole loads of GUI items are missing. Reverting back to the last known working build of isengard makes the Silvo skin work fine again so I'm guessing it's a Jarvis incompatibility.

@mike what du you think about Fake Disc in MyFlix view ??

for now when no discart is available the cover opens and the discart from the last movie rolls in which one have a discart !! (false discart for that movie)

I cannot replicate this on latest Isengard both Kodi and skin, are you using Jarvis? No discart is supposed to show a blank bluray disc and both the empty and previous or next movies work fine for me.

Jarvis could have some quirks since it is alpha and if using Windows the DX 11 update can sometimes add to it. Best to check to see if it works in Isengard to narrow down where the problem is.

Something I've noticed for a while now - When starting a trailer from the video info window there is an animation that slides the video info contents off to the sides reveling the actual playing video. The problem I've noticed many times is that if the trailer is a local video, the video seems to start playing before the animation is complete. I've seen this result is either the animation being very choppy or, in the worst case scenario, the animation completely stops having slid only half way off the screen and just hangs there blocking a good portion of the video playing behind it.

The few times I've I played a trailer that was a youtube link, the animation always slides out of the way smoothly and completely. I suspect that it may be because it takes a second or two for the video to actually start streaming (as opposed to a local file) which gives enough time for the animation to complete. But that's just a theory.

I cannot replicate this either. When I play a local trailer the info screen has no closing animation and the trailer just plays on top immediately. What version of Kodi, skin version, platform...??

no i am back on isengard fresh installation, i test today the latest github version and give you feedback !! (the blank bluray disc I had also before)

I have a minor suggestion for improving the appearance/readability of the TV section. I find the unwatched episode count to be difficult to read. Adding a blue tint to this value makes it stand out much better.

Using either:

[COLOR=ICS_Blue_Textures]$INFO[ListItem.Property(UnWatchedEpisodes), ($LOCALIZE[16101]: ,)][/COLOR]

or

<textcolor>ICS_Blue_Textures</textcolor>

gives the text some contrast:











Also, it would be nice to have an option to hide this label in episode view:

I got what is most likely a stupid question and admit that I haven't looked through the entire forum to see if the answer is there.

I've recently installed this skin and the CinemaVision add-on. My problem is that I can't seem to find the play trailer context menu or in the movie info screen. I did install the extended info add-on and realize that has taken the place of the normal info screen but that shouldn't prevent you from playing locally available trailers should it. I've spent a lot of time getting those trailers and want to have access to them when friends come over. If the trailers are out then this skin is not right for me because I value the trailers to much to allow them to be gone for good.

Please help me figure out were I might have gone wrong in the configurations.

Certain buttons/functions are not available when selecting replace with ExtendedInfo in the VideoInfo skin settings section. Disable that to view the default info screen. If you select default for the location of the CinemaVision button it replaces the trailer button and moves it under the + sign so either change the location of the CinemaVision button, stop using ExtendedInfo in place of the default info screen or navigate to the trailer button under the + sign.

Thanks for the info. I had looked under the + sign before with ExtendedInfo enabled and even now it doesn't show trailer there. So I took your advice and just unchecked the option and now the trailers are available. Honestly I like having the animated CD art in your normal movie info screen.

I do like your improvements to the original skin. Hope you didn't take the previous comment personally. Even if you had gotten rid of the trailers button completely that just would mean that you had different priorities. Not every skin is perfect for everyone and I can only imagine how much time and effort you have put into this skin. Thank you for all your hard work.

A litte suggestion, disable rating info doesn't include tvshow episodes rating. It's a little annoying when list many episodes and only few has rating. Also with latest update I can't seem to find how to set background image anymore just default background?

Basically I am saying you did nothing wrong and if it appeared I was being curt just know that it is late and the later it is the less I want to type

The backgrounds can be set per section using the background button in the side menu, now that I think about it... adding a header label to denote what background you are changing might be a good idea...

As for the disable rating issue... the one thing I find a little annoying , is when someone posts about a problem but then does not provide enough information to fix it so, I can't just post back that it has been taken care of but instead I have to ask questions that can possibly run through multiple posts

What view would you like to hide the ratings for? The description for the setting I think you are talking about is for list views, so is it a list view?

I think what your saying is correct does make it stand out better im trying to find the file that needs to be edited can you point me to it please
