This is a screen from nox4. More space to see fanart, have option to using logo instead of text title.

For music alternate layout, that a nice one. But i more like the simple of 1st layout. So i will handle it for my personal uses.

Will add logo to InfoWall sometime soon but the view will most likely not look like the old one.

I Blame ‘Canadave’ for not fixing the bug in his signature.

Recently the creator of script.skinshortcuts added support for the script to the main menu of Mimic. Since there is a lot of similar code in Mimic and Nox 5 and there have been a few requests to add more custom items, I decided to see if I could follow his commits and do the same. Everything seems to be working but I have only started this a few hours ago so it is not finished. As of now widgets are not available but thought I would throw it out for testing so people could play with it.

LOL....so, I visit this thread for the first time in quite a while, out of the blue, for a completely innocent reason...just in time to see my name being dragged through the mud Fair enough, considering my typo dragged Mike's name through the mud!

It's not much of a defence, but I think my brainlock came from the fact that one of my favourite Bob Dylan tunes is "Silvio", so I think I kind of transposed that mentally without too much self-editing happening. Sorry Mike! Never would've even noticed it.

Actually, the main reason I popped by just now was to see if anyone else has reported this exceedingly minor bug (I specialize in finding those). I changed all the widget panel types on my menu items to "Extended Panel". If I am currently on a main menu item with a widget, and I then press the right-remote button to move to the next main menu item, and that main menu item does NOT have a widget, then I see a brief "ghost" of a Default-styled widget, with a spinning "busy" wheel, that lasts for a half-second before fading away.

No apologies necessary, I don't actually care if it is misspelled. I just thought it was funny since LFCFAN brought up my response to your second to last post in this thread All in good fun though

I seem to be making some progress on using skin.shortcuts for the main menu, submenu, backgrounds, and widgets so if you feel like testing out the new branch to see if your issues are already fixed feedback and bug reports would be helpful. If you or anyone else is interested then you need to install the latest mainmenu_skinshortcuts_rework branch and skin.shortcuts from its GitHub page. Expect some things to not work ATM like InfoLines since I have not gotten to that yet

FYI this new branch does not contain Mr V. Widgets.

Edit: Infoline should now be working.

I noticed that in the fullscreen moviewall some movies don't show up. Even after a rescan. I have tried different methods of refreshing.
In Video -> Files I can see those movies as a folder icon.
What is going on here? Any help appreciated.

Autoscan probably cannot find a match. Try pressing info when in video > files to manually search.

That option was moved in where you customize each home screen item. So you can now have extended panels for some, and default for others.

Hi, is it possible to NOT show the widgets until pressing up like you can do in Aeon MQ? I think you can't see the background really good when widgets are active. So with this feature you could see the background and if you want to see your recent added movies for example you just press up and the widget appears.

What do you think? Or is this already possible somehow?

I just updated to 15.2 RC2 and I have not seen it hang up up yet, but I am seeing the animation every time and sometimes it is choppy. I played about 20 trailers to test.

Will look into this some more and post a test file, when I can, for you to try to see if it fixes your issue.

I've got it started in the attached files. What's missing is compatibility with the Logo toggle and a need to fix the list to be in the low position (it doesn't work without the poster in the lowered position).

The labels on the right side could also be adjusted.

I have this skin installed and love everything about it but for some reason under skin settings manage sub menu this panel is showing up with no background and is clear. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this is there a specific xml file for this portion of the skin?
